Very Underwhelming

Very underwhelming. At slow speeds the belt stops with my footfall, so if I do not continue my step, the belt does not move. If I attempt to side step at a slow speed for a warm-up, the belt stops completely. The manual speed and incline controls have no tactile feel (no button-push feel or tone with each push of the control), so unless you are looking at the speed display on the screen, it is difficult to determine if you are changing the speed. It takes nearly 1 full minute (50 seconds to be exact) to go from 0% grade to 12%, which makes doing incline intervals annoying. Hand rails and display do not incline with the deck, so that when you incline you get farther away from the display and handrails. It also does not incline very high (12% is max), which I cannot really complain about, since that's what's advertised. Was just hoping that for $1000 I would get a better functioning piece of equipment. i would not purchase again.

Software Update Broke Console

I bought a Proform elliptical with iFit in 2020 during the pandemic. 4-5 years later, one day the elliptical stopped working. The display console got upgraded online and the software wasn't working. I contacted iFit support. They provided an usb image to put on the usb stick. Tried it. Did not solve the problem. Then at that point, they forced me to buy a new display console. Their software broke the elliptical and they refused to replace the console for free. Do you want to use it for a few years until their software upgrade renders it unusable? Visit the Better Business Bureau to see the numerous complaints against iFit.

Great Product!

I’ve had my NordicTrack treadmill with iFIT for a few months now, and it’s honestly been a total game-changer. I bought it to help with my cardio and overall fitness, and it’s really helped me stay consistent. The iFIT workouts are super engaging. I’ve been following a couple of walking and running programs that gradually build up your endurance, and the fact that the treadmill adjusts speed and incline automatically based on the workout is a huge plus. It feels like the trainers are right there with you, cheering you on (and pushing you when you need it). What I love most is that I’m not stuck doing the same boring routine every day. One day I’m hiking in Patagonia, the next I’m doing a quick interval run through a city. It keeps me engaged, and I’ve actually started looking forward to my workouts. If you’re trying to hit your fitness goals and need something that’ll keep you on track (without being repetitive), this treadmill is 100% worth it.

So Far So Good

Only had a week and it works well. Can't figure out how iFit works yet...I thought I had 30 days free but might be mistaken. We paid for install. If you install yourself it invalidates warranty so keep that in mind when purchasing. Easy and straight forward delivery and set up process. Was debating between this and the Sole but overall ratings NordicTrac had better reviews everywhere.
