Not A Great Fit

I'm not impressed with the fit or feel of these Obermeyer Jinks ITB Softshell Pants. I ordered a size 8, and I'm 5'6" and 140lbs. They feel slightly baggy and not long enough, but I think the next size down would have been too small (and certainly not long enough). The foot straps don't stay on if I'm not wearing socks and walking around barefoot. I'm actually on the fence about keeping them.
