Not Water Resistant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket is great if there's no rain or snow and I like all the pockets. But if there is any rain or snow it is terrible which is a pain since I work doing dog hikes in all weather. The arms are the weakest point and I come home with cold wet sleeves. My son has an obermeyer jacket and his is great. This one is not. It's not waterproof or even water resistant which is useless as a winter sport coat.

Warm And Flexible For Midwest Skiing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket for mostly cold-weather skiing in the Midwest. I recently used it in mild 40-degree temps in New Hampshire and Vermont this past spring. It kept me warm and was pretty flexible and not too fitting with my layers. I normally wear a 6P, and purchased this in a women's 8 after reviewers commented that it was snug. There was no petite size for me to to compare it to, but fortunately, the regular women's wasn't too bulky or long in the length nor sleeves. It's probably too warm for spring skiing in the West, but I live in the Midwest and imagine this will work perfectly for where I do the majority of skiing. In fact, I returned a shell-style ski jacket because I thought it wouldn't keep me warm enough even with layers. Very pleased with the purchase, though it isn't as flashy or "fun" as I was hoping.
