I did need a wide size, even though I normally don’t need one. They are stiff out of the box, but the stiffness eases if worn for a couple days. Great On The Trail

I bought these boots during the pandemic to walk the trails near me when they were covered with snow. It wasn't deep snow, but it was deep enough that it would have gone over my hiking shoes. My Oboz Bridger Mid BDry Boots did not disappoint. My feet were warm and dry and I had no trouble hiking either up or down the steep hills. Great traction, comfortable and warm. They did have a little more break-in time than the Oboz Sawtooth II Low BDry hiking shoes I had previously purchased (which had zero break-in time) but it really didn't take that long to break in either.

Great Boot Runs Small

I have come to expect the supportive Oboz fit and these don’t disappoint. I hiked in them immediately without incident. They are supportive and waterproof. My only quibble is the lack of a pull on heel loop which these don’t have and which I miss. Otherwise a great boot.
