About This Item


Odyssey’s new line of Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putters feature a modern center shafted design that makes them Stroke Balanced so they want to stay square throughout a golfer’s stroke. These putters are ideally suited for golfer’s looking to minimize their face rotation when they putt.

Ai-One Insert

  • Designed using Artificial Intelligence, Odyssey's created contours on the Aluminum backer of the insert which they co-molded to a White Hot Urethane striking surface to promote consistent ball speed across the face with the classic White Hot feel that Tour players and amateurs love.

Modern Center Shafted Design

  • This design centers the shaft on the cg plane of the putter. This results in putters that rest with the toe up in a reverse torque position, opposite of a traditional putter with toe hang. This design promotes a square face throughout the stroke.

Built in Forward Press

  • 2° of forward shaft lean presets the hands in a forward press position eliminating the opening of the face that often happens when golfer forward press on their own.

SL 140 Shafts

  • Different shafts for different configurations provide the proper weight and balance to complement the different head weights and lengths that are offered.Unique Navy Blue PVD Finish
  • This line features a beautiful navy blue PVD finish that really sets the apart and gives the a premium look and of course the Jailbird models come with Odyssey's classic Versa alignment.

The Putter Does Its Job

I’ve got to say, I really like this putter. I’ve always had a straight-back, straight-through putting stroke (no arc), and this thing just fits me perfectly. The longer shaft and counterbalanced grip make it feel super comfortable and stable in my hands. I know some people have mentioned the loft and the forward shaft lean, but honestly, it hasn’t been an issue for me at all. Maybe I just do it naturally without thinking about it. It is very soft, so it took me a little time to dial in my speed control, but once I did, wow. I haven’t pushed or pulled a single putt since I started using it. My triple track balls roll perfectly end-over-end every time. It hasn’t magically made me a better putter, it just means the ball actually goes where I aim it… If I had to nitpick, I’m not crazy about the look. When I bought it, I told myself the black-and-white stripes wouldn’t bother me. Turns out, they do. I’ve even thought about painting the top all black except for the alignment lines. All in all, I’d still give it a solid 4 out of 5.

Great Putter

I love this new putter! I've been playing with a center shafted, center weighted STX putter for around 20 years, and have never been able to hit a heel shafted putter of any sort as well. I tried most of the Odyssey putters in the stores numerous times while shopping... and always came back to this one. The balance and additional weight feel great and lead to a solid and true stroke. I've been to the practice green several times, and played 2 rounds so far and have been impressed. I feel that I've gained distance control and am getting the ball closer with a more consistent roll. It's only a matter of time to get dialed in and start dropping more putts. My only minor complaint is that the grip is not as big as the Super Stroke I've been using, but it's of adequate size and shape for a similar feel.

Promising Future. Instant Results And Rewards.

True story. I bought this putter without ever having so much as picked one up. It was delivered Tuesday. I took it to Lake Forest Golf & Practice Center on Wednesday to test it out on their practice green. The green was closed that evening - for their "LFG Masters Putting Contest". Still wanting to try it, I entered the contest. I got to the first "hole", took the cover off the putter and found the plastic wrap still on the putter head. So, I peeled that off and started putting. Like. A. Boss. Wound up winning the tournament and a special Masters putter cover (unfortunately it is for a blade putter). I look forward to a long relationship with this S2S Jailbird Cruiser. I only hope it continues to do what it did, which was get in the hole. It feels great and the most important feature I found was that putts went where I expected, both in direction and in distance. When any golfer puts that together with their ability to accurately read greens and breaks, they'll be deadly. Here's to a long, healthy relationship with my new Square 2 Square. For reference, it replaced a 12+ year old 2-Ball Backstryke putter for which I just seemed to lose touch and feel.

Fantastic Putter

I love the weighting of this putter and the fact that it seems to straighten my putts!

Effective Putter

I bought this putter two weeks ago, and it’s very effective. However, I would’ve given it a five-star rating if it had a better grip. The Odyssey grip I got was poor, so I replaced it with a SuperStroke grip. I suggest offering an arm lock grip for this putter, as the shaft lean of The Jailbirds Cruiser square-to-square putters may require it.
