Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek looking putter I tried this out on the putting green after a bad round with my Ping Nome. The ball rolled well off the face and the three dots for alignment made me buy it on the spot. I haven't played a round yet, but I'm sure this will be in the bag for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing putter! I've been a good putter for all of my golfing life (35 years) and have almost exclusively used blade style putters (WhiteHot #1 and #2). For some reason this year, my putting became terrible from inside 15' feet and especially bad inside 5'. Enter the tank. The minute I tried this I immediately loved the weight of the head and feel of the putter with the counterbalance shaft. The mid size grip is perfect for my hand size. The red color of the head provides great contract without being distracting. When I set up with this, I feel the putter helps me have a good stance and posture. The ball comes off the face smoothly and feels great. I've played 4 rounds with this putter and all have been around par. My last time out, I birdied 3 or the last 4, making 3 putts inside of 10' with the tank. If you're struggling with your putting, give this one a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So comfortable I recently had back surgery and when I tried this at the store it felt so good I had been using a Scotty Cameron for several years. I love how the weight of this helps me to make a clean straight putt

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helps me with both long and short putts !! Background: I'm about a 9with putting the last several years. Playing with an Odyssey 2 Ball White Hot XG putter since 2008, I got the "yips" after being harassed by co-workers when faced with handicap, but have struggled a 2 foot putt for a lucrative "skin" in a tournament a few years ago. After that epic miss, I just lost confidence in my ability to make a smooth stroke and convert a short putt. I often "jabbed" at short putts, and long putts were often either way short, way long, or way off line. Finally, after enduring the yips for years, I told myself if I can't develop a good putting game, I can try to buy one. So I bought the 38" "Tank" putter a few weeks ago. It had a good feel and balance at the store on their artificial turf putting surface, and had a good feel and balance on actual greens. My first round out, my long and short putting definitely improved, and a week later when I played in my league, the yips partially returned, and I missed several shorter putts. But I didn't give up, and spent a few hours by myself on a practice green getting use to the feel and balance of the putter. I have a few more rounds under my belt, and I am consistently draining 4 footers, and my long putting is much better as well. How this "Tank" putter helps me: --Larger head weight helps me control backstroke speed, and follow through speed; discourages a "jabbing" motion affecting people with the "yips". -- Absolutely love the microhinge face insert. At impact with the ball, it isn't too "mushy", and rebounds off the face nicely. That's a result of the ball contacting metal microhinge, backed up by a polyurethane polymer. But unlike blade putters, there is a muted feel of impact, as if vibration is absorbed "just enough" to make it feel good. I find if I strike the ball too close to the toe or the heel, the putter head doesn't twist, and you still get a pleasant "feel" at impact. This makes the effective "sweet spot" on this putter much larger than any other putter. -Love the long Superstroke putting grip and the longer 38" shaft. I first tried to solve my putting woes buy putting on a fat (5.0) Superstroke putting grip on my old 35" Odyssey 2-ball putter, but I just couldn't get used to it, and still had putting problems. I later removed it and put on a mid-sized (3.0) Superstroke grip on it, and that old putter felt better, but I have to admit I like the size of the 2.0 Superstroke on this new "Tank" Putter. I also like how I can grip "down" on short putts, getting more accuracy, and grip "up" on longer putts, getting more leverage without having to stroke it quite as hard. I also appreciate the counterbalance effect provided by the longer shaft, and the ability (if I want) to add mass to the end of the putter shaft with a optional weight insert (75 or 100 g). $10.00. I haven't tried it yet, but its nice knowing that option exists. -Finally, I look the matte Red color and sight lines, makes alignment easy. I also like how the sharp inner edges of the "claw" feature will grab into the ball cover, allowing it to be picked up (as opposed to "scooped up", which you can do as well).
