Do Not Buy Poor Quality

Not recommended at all. Had 10 lb test line trying to bring a bass to the surface and the tip just snapped right off. Called for a warranty claim since it's only 2 months old or 3 months old and they said it's not under warranty because that's not what it's designed to be used for what? Joe, they do not back their product. It's poor quality. I read reviews. It's not the only time I've seen one snapped go with an ugly stick or a better spend a little extra and don't get ripped off. First time I've seen a tip snap with 10 lb test.

Medium Heavy Does It All

I bought this in october and its been great. I was able to catch winter trout with 6lb mono and use 1/8oz spinners with good accuracy and distance and now that its spring bass season i put on 14lb braid with 10lb mono leader and got a 4lb bass w/ 3/4

Loved It Till I Didn't

Was my favorite pole in my lineup, till about a month in..... Rod snapped setting the hook on a fish. Drag was under 50% and pole barely flexed. Warranty claim is going to cost of the total cost for this combo and can't even offer me the same poll because I guess they don't make 😒 now looks like I have an overpriced expensive reel

Fantastic Inshore Combo!

I've owned this combo for a few months now and could not be happier with it. Solid rod and reel at a great price that's perfectly happy tossing spoons for mackerel and other near-shore fish, jigs for flounder, specks and reds or doing the work as a freshwater setup.

Best First Fishing Rod

I bought this few months ago and it's still in great condition. I love the quality, the color, and accents. It's light enough for freshwater but also a great option for saltwater which I mainly use it for. My wife likes to use it more since it's rather lighter than my thicker/heavier rods. The reel is smooth. Just an all around favorite and I would recommend.
