Great In Big Water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this Kayak to be the most versatile kayak ever. Paddled the Everglades National Park, Florida bay and 5 day Kayak Camp in the Florida Keys. Plenty of room for all my gear, Handles Big water very well easy to paddle in big waves. Comfortable and reliable.

Sorento Stands Out In A Crowd

I have had my Sorento 126 about three years now. It always stands out in the crowd. The drop down skeg keeps the track arrow straight. Large cockpit leaves lots of room form gear and space to stow cooler, camera and stuff. The "Red Rocket " has hundreds of miles along Florida creeks and rivers.

Very Comfortable

We bought the kayaks in 2021 and have enjoyed them very much. We decided to go with the Sorrento 126 because of the seat and the skeg. The seat is, in my opinion, the most comfortable seating system for a recreational kayak. The kayak tracks perfectly with the skeg and the cockpit is very roomy. I suggest going with the 126 instead of the 106

Great Mix Of Touring And Rec Boat

I've owned my Sorrento 126 for over a year. Great boat for small rivers and lakes. Very maneuverable yet tracks very well with the skeg deployed just a little. One thing Oldtown could do is sell a aftermarket dashboard similar to the loon series. My wife has the loon 120 and that's the only thing I prefer on hers over mine. I think just about every Sorrento owner would buy one and I know personally that's why some(my wife) went with the Loon over the Sorrento. The ability to have the skeg and maneuverability, plus still find a skirt is awesome. I'd love to see this boat in the future also have a front bulkhead. Even if they had to go 13ft. We do several kayak camping trips a year. That would set this boat in a class of its own for that purpose.

Love My Sorrento 126sk

Bought in November 2020 and took out on the Mississippi and Rock rivers, it was kind of breezy and the drop down skeg was awsome, it tracked like an arrow. This spring I'm a high angle paddle and I bought an aquabound manta ray paddle. I was able to keep up with my friends touring kayak. And once again it breezy and the drop down skeg made a big difference, I wasn't wasting energy trying to keep the kayak going straight. I'm looking forward to a long season of paddling.
