Excellent Quality And Craftmanship
I own 2 Bigwater PDLs, 1 Sportsman 120 PDL and just purchased a Bigwater EPDL in October. I cannot say enough about these kayaks except for these are of excellent quality and craftsmanship.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review Title: Perfect For Big Water And
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Sportsman BigWater PDL 132 for a few months now, and it’s been a game changer. The pedal drive is smooth, fast, and makes covering long distances effortless, even in current or wind. The seat is extremely comfortable, which makes all-day fishing trips easy on the back. It’s very stable — I can stand and cast with no problem — and it tracks straight even in choppy conditions. The storage space and layout are well thought out for serious anglers. If you’re looking for a pedal kayak built for performance, comfort, and durability, this one’s worth every

Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it when it was called the predator. It works great. No problems. I do not stand up to fish. I don't feel comfortable trying to fish while standing in it. The only negative is that it is heavy. If you have to lug it up a hill it will be a workout. I use wilderness system wheels to move it around. I just use a bed type extension that attaches to the trailer hitch of a truck to haul it. I have never tipped over in it. I love the thing. Usual top speed is about 4.5 mph. I have owned this for 4 years.

I'm In Control
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got mine a couple of years ago when they were called Predator. I was worried I may have wasted my money on a fancy kayak when a regular one would do, I was WRONG. I love this thing. OMG so great. I pedal all day and don't get tired (I'm old and fat BTW) When I'm working a fish in moving water, I'm in control! I maintain position with my feet, rudder adjustments are quick, my hands are free to work the pole and the fish. When I snag a lure in moving water, again I'm in control with my feet holding my position. We were fishing the delta with a small breeze and flowing water. My buddy hurt his shoulder so we switched kayaks so he wouldn't have to paddle. I fished in his kayak, I was miserable after having my pedal kayak all these years. Freeing a snagged lure became quite the hazard with the current pushing me around. I'm never going back to paddle kayak. I don't see the need for electric either, this thing scoots all along at a pretty good clip just on pedal power. I love my predator.

Most Reliable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had mine for a couple years now. By far the best and most reliable pedal kayak on the market. I’ve had mine in everything from small rivers to the gulf of America. Never had a single problem.

Excellent Features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kayak last year and the hands free not having to paddle is a game changer when you are on a school of fish. Has a lot of storage, it’s FAST and super stable. The hull is solid. Built to last.

Conquer The Water!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned the Old Town Bigwater PDL 132 for 4 years now and can tell you, this kayak embodies the name bigwater and other all is an amazing platform! It's fast, agile, stable, adaptable, and very customizable. The drill plates are really nice! They allow you to add accessories that require drilling holes to mount that accessory but you don't have to worry about drilling into the main kayak itself. But my favorite thing about the bigwater, the PDL drive in combo with that sleek, narrow hull! The Bigwater truly is a beast but can really get moving out on the water. I've been able to pedal it, bow into the wind and still hit 4mph - 4.2mph! That's great for a kayak! It's hull just eats waves too. The bow has a narrow point that is designed to split waves, make it easier for the kayak to keep moving through those conditions and I can't tell you how nice it is to have that feature being a trout troller up in the Rocky Mountains, dealing with wind waves, chop, and heavy wind. Other all, the Old Town Bigwater PDL 132 is the perfect kayak that gives you all of the features to be an amazing fishing platform but gives you that unique kayaking experience with it's narrow hull! I'd always recommend the bigwater!

Awesome Kayak Very Stable And Fast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kayak about 8 months ago and really waited to provide accurate feedback. This is a great solid kayak, very fast and stable. I have been out in saltwater with high winds, swells and can still stand on this no problem. I have had many great adventures and caught countless fish and made many new kayak friends. Highly recommend this kayak to anybody interested. Easy to add on extras as well.

Hunter And Fisherman
Bought this last year around march timeframe. Haven’t done kayaking prior. But this has by far been the best purchase. I fish and hunt with this kayak. Biggest issue was the buoyancy. Once I put in scupper plugs it worked out 100x better. Modified to be able to carry guns, I have a blind built for it and fish regularly with it, bass and salmon. I would definitely recommend.

The Previous Model Predator Pdl Was Better
I have a 2018 and a 2019 Predator PDL in Urban Camo (white, light gray, black), I love them and protect them because they are awesome. 2019 was the last year Old Town made the version i have with the aluminum rudder and locking front hatch cover. I have not tried one of the newer ones with the plastic rudder. But on paper I think the Bigwater PDL starting in 2020 is a downgrade in quality and a big increase in price. I have read reviews where people think the newer Bigwater PDL is not stable. I find this surprising because the boat looks the same as what I have. But i do wish Old Town would bring back the old design with aluminum rudder and especially bring back the Urban Camo color. The darker colors available now absorb too much heat in the Florida sun.

Nice But Scratched
I bought this kayak on a super sale that dicks was having they are usually 3250+ tax and I got it for 1750 out the door. I opt for store pickup since it was free. The kayak had some minor scratches on both sides and a small scuff mark. Its not to big of a deal considering it was heavily discount but. if I was paying normal price I probably would have made them order a new one. Dicks should have wrapped the kayak or at least tried to somehow cover it.
