I bought these shoes at the beginning of May for my everyday walking shoes and for the gym. I have been having problems with plantar fasciitis and needed something with extra cushioning. The shoes look great and feel great, but less than two weeks after I purchased them, they started to squeak in the heel of both shoes. The squeak is loud and embarrassing and happens on all surfaces, concrete, tile, asphalt, and even carpet. Dicks Sporting Goods said they could not exchange them because they had been worn. They recommended filing a warranty claim with the manufacturer. The manufacturer, On, said they could not do anything because that is not covered under their warranty. These are the most expensive shoes I have ever purchased and they are so embarrassing to wear. I tell everyone that asks what the squeak is that neither Dicks Sporting Goods nor the manufacturer On, are willing to stand behind the products they sell. My suggestion, if you are going to buy expensive shoes, get them from REI. They will take returns on any product, regardless of condition, no questions asked, up to a year after purchase.
