Funny As Soon As I See Photos How Familiar It Looks. They Fall Apart Literally In 12 Months Of Light Wear. Terrible Shoe.

As soon as I come on this site to find my order details when I purchased these shoes, which was 15 months ago...I see photos of the exact same complaints and problems others have. I wear these shoes maybe 2x a week. There was about a 4 week period on vacations with a lot of walking, where they got worn daily. They still look in excellent condition, like new mostly....EXCEPT....look at the other photos people have. Where the felt/fabric on the outside front 1/3 of the shoe meets, mine started to wear and finally got a hole on both shoes in the same spot. Just basic walking. I don't work out, run or anything like that. It is just a casual sneaker that is supposed to be real comfortable and provide great support. I give them a 3 for comfort and support...for the $160 I paid for these...you would expect way better for comfort, wear etc...so my shoes literally look new, except with holes where the material/fabric just fell apart for no apparent reason. I have other shoes 3x older that still look great with no issue. These are garbage and ON is a gimmick/scan all marketing company. The other weird thing is the rear sole has a big space and gap in the sole, giant rocks will lodge in there and you will feel something weird if you walked over some bigger gravel. Stupid design, all marketing nonsense and a shoe that won't last. Money better spent on something else.

Wore Out Quickly

I wear these shoes practically daily and they are exceptionally comfortable and feel solid. However, after only about six months, the right shoe began ripping in the mesh area, in two different places. I took them back to REI and was told that this was normal wear and tear. So for a shoe that costs $150 I guess you can only expect it to last for six months. At about the ten month mark, the left shoe is showing signs of the same problem. I'd be a customer for life if they were more durable.

On Point

I've had these for close to a month now so they are broken in. First pair of On and I do like the styling or how they look. In terms of comfort, they are good but not great. It could be that there are better products that On makes that are more suitable for my foot shape. For comfort, my pair of Hoka Mach 5 are a more comfortable shoe than the On Cloudrunner for walking. Certainly nothing wrong with this shoe, it is very stable and stylish.

Great Running Shoes

I brought the shoes cause my friend told me it’s very comfortable for running

Great Value For On Cloudrunner

My old On Cloudrunners were starting to wear out and I found these On Dick's on sale for my replacements, so I got a great deal on my favorite shoes!
