Great Ventilation
The good: The cap mostly consists of a material with great ventilation — it feels a bit like the material you’d find used on the uppers of On’s racing shoes. Because that, the cap does retain much sweat and stays lightweight. The ventilated bill also means the cap doesnt feel like it’ll fly off in heavy wind. I saw another review mention odors after heavy sweating - strong disagree, if anything it retains less odor for me because it dries quickly after use (ymmv). I’ve taken it on long runs, track workouts, and into races — I’ve never had an issue with it.
The bad: The cap feels a bit delicate—I’ve washed it many times in cold water on the delicate or hand wash setting in my washing machine with no issues, but you do have to be mindful about how it’s washed. It’s pricey. I’m not sure it’s worth its MSRP of $80, so value is questionable.
Overall, I’d recommend it if you’re willing to spend the $.

Good Looking Hat, Horrible Stink
It’s a great looking hat and super breathable but unfortunately that’s where the good ends. It runs a bit small for bigger heads for starters so make sure to try on in person. The material used makes it so that after each run, you have to wash it. It leaves a very powerful stink and I have plenty of running hats that I can typically use for 2-3 runs and it does not leave an odor as strong as this. I am not usually a person that stinks after a run, but this hat makes it so that I can’t even tolerate it after a run. For 80 dollars, go for an OR hat or Lulu, you’re paying for the hype.
