Was looking for a replacement shoe for running, have been using asics for many years. ON was recommended and tried several versions but the Cloud surfer was best for me. I don't think the shoe meets the "cloud" reference but they are pretty comfy. I run several miles every day on pavement, The color was an accurate representation from the website. I like the reflective properties on the shoe, helpful in low light activities. I didn't understand the black band that covered the shoe laces. Its an advertisement for the brand but made it difficult to lace the shoe. I was going to cut them off but the cost of the shoe made it hard to alter it that way. I was able to redo the laces and put that band under the laces to avoid the issue with the laces. Now I can tie my shoes and get a better fit. The shoe is comfortable, it does have a push or rolling type motion to assist with strides while running but isn't pronounced while walking. I am not sure of the quality of the shoe as I have only had them for a short time. I am not convinced cloudsurfers are very durable, but I run on pavement and shoe life is short for all brands. The material is lightweight but not as breathable as other shoes I have. Not a deal breaker but can be a reason to avoid using the shoe during the summer. The fit is like others have mentioned a little smaller but I didn't have to size up. The toe box is wide enough for me. The laces are flimsy and difficult to get your shoe tight, but at least this version has the padded upper to help with the fit. The eyelets are different not sure they will last over time, some are actual holes and then you have little bands on the outside of the shoe? The cut and design for the heel/ankle are good, they are low and wide, good fit for me. Some shoes have the ankle cutout a bit higher but not cloudsurfer. I am happy with the fit of these shoes and they are comfortable. It is a bit tricky to get the perfect fit for narrow foot but these will do as an alternative for now, not a replacement for my other favorites but on sale they are a good pick. **Pros: color, fit, padded upper, comfort **Cons: laces and eyelets, overall durability is a question but i may be proved wrong over time, not as padded as hope. Yes, I recommend On Cloudsurfer.
