Product Description
Co-developed by Pickleball National Champions Matt Wright and Lucy Kovalova, the Evoke Premier paddle brings power and precision to your game like never before. The Evoke Premier uses the new Atomic13 Edge Technology, an edge guard specifically designed to disperse shock while increasing power and swing-speed to the paddle. The DF Composite face provides a consistent minimal coating on the surface to soften the ball without losing any spin or pop off the composite face. The precision cut polypropylene core delivers incredible touch. It is a medium weight paddle (7.8-8.2 oz.). The Impact Paddle shape (16” x 8”) is perfect for slightly increasing your reach and maximizing your baseline power, making the Evoke Premier the most powerful and solid paddle in the ONIX Pickleball lineup.
Bought the same paddle I had been using before. I loved my old Evoke Premier but it had lost some of its pop. The new paddle seems to have lost it too. (Maybe it’s me?) I did see the new one is made in China and my old one was made in Mexico. I don’t know if that makes a difference. Just not very happy with it.

Do Not Buy!
This is the second paddle that we bought. The handle broke on both of these after only 9 months of use. I checked the reviews after I bought the second one and at least 6 negative reviews with the same problem. The need to fix this issue.

Worth Waiting For!
OK, so I'm a pickleball fanatic...a cross-over after 65 years of playing tennis. I know what it takes to deliver power, spin, and touch from the backcourt, and from the net. I found it all with the Evoke Premier paddle. I purchased the 'heavy' model, which gives my shots that extra pop I want. The surface is nicely textured, and delivers all the spin I can muster. If I could find any room for improvement in the Evoke Premier, it would be the material used for the handle, which can get quite slippery under humid conditions. Some overwrap took care of that. Although this frame has been around for awhile, I highly recommend it.

Great Paddle
This was my first higher end paddle. It gave me more power, control, and speed at the net during hands battles. It helped compete at a much higher level. It is incredibly durable and has held up very well for 200+ games. I would highly recommend it.

Great Paddle
I play both singles and doubles and this was the first paddle that worked for both. I've had this paddle for about a year now and love it, it's the perfect amount of speed and control for my playing style. If you are looking for more speed or more control, I would recommend upgrading to the Premier Pro Carbon which is also a really nice paddle.

Thin Grip Padding
I got the red lightweight Onyx Evoke paddle. It weighs 7.7 oz and is heavier (and more top heavy) than my lightweight Selkirk. I love the tennis-handle shape of the grip; however, the padding on the grip is very thin and can get uncomfortable. If Onyx can figure out how to give some more grip padding without adding more weight and circumference to the grip, they'll have a true winner.

Great Power And Pop
Our offices have pickleball courts and we are welcome to test products. We play weekly every weekend and the Evoke Premier pickleball paddle has been my favorite. It is a great step up from the Evoke Pro. It has great pop and power. A terrific all around paddle for players.

Waiting For Malice!
I was a professional tennis player and was ranked in the top ten nationally in men’s 45 doubles. I have switched to Pickleball and have been playing with this paddle for three years I haven’t found anything better but am waiting for the new split throat Malice paddle that will have a carbon fiber face. This will last longer and have more bite on the ball. I’m looking forward to the new paddle!
