Burner Won’t Light

When you can get the burner on, it’s great. Much easier to get up to the appropriate heat than wood. The heat is also significantly more consistent with this argument. The biggest problem is the starter just won’t light the fire. You hear the click and there’s no spark. I went through all of the troubleshooting steps and nothing. I wouldn’t recommend the attachment.

Works Kinda

The hose was kinked due to packaging. Once I was able to remove the kinks the burner would not stay lit. It often would just stop for no reason. Very frustrating

Karu Questions

I have a Koda 12 that I have used for the last few years. The burner lights easily and the pizza stone heats very well. Since I bought a Karu and attached the propane burner, it's a real pain in the butt to light the oven, and the stone doesn't get nearly as hot. It's a mystery to me why this is the case, but I need some suggestions. Thank you, Brad Myers

Game changer. I stopped using my Karu for a while because I got lazy about burning wood. I still prefer wood, of course, but this is so easy!!! I’m still learning to control the heat for other foods - didn’t nail my tomahawk - but I know I’ll figure it out. Very happy with this addition!
