IT SUCKS. Brand new replacement gas burner for the original one, that would go out after 45 minutes. installed the new replacement, and after 45 minutes it went out. Thank you for a bad product. Spent a lot of money for your product and it does not work.

Ooni send a replacement and it works fantastic. Love my pizza.

This was a replacement part via warranty. It works well just like the first one did before malfunctioning. Thanks

This is incredibly inconsistent when it does light. I really wanted this to work but I can't have confidence it stays lit during a cook. I recently tried cooking three pizzas and the flame cut out on every pizza I was cooking. You can't be consistent or confident in your cook if you don't know if your flame is going to stay lit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a house full of people over, tried to light the gas burner that I ordered with my Ooni Karu 2 Pro. Wouldn't light. Replaced propane tank, wouldn't light. Re-read instructions, scoured YouTube, no luck. Clearly generating no spark at the ignition. Contacted Ooni to replace and they require customers take a video to prove that the product doesn't work. I had about 40 hungry eyewitnesses that could corroborate the fact that the product shipped did not work. This is a highly patronizing way to treat customers that just spent 1500 on a bundle of products. I will eventually get around to taking a video, but who has time to lug the thing back out of the garage, set it up, ask someone to record a video, only to show that a defective product doesn't work. Is there any other D2C company that requires this? Do I need to commission someone to write a musical score? Do I need to get SAG involved if there are extras in the shot? It's ridiculous and insulting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When set to the maximum gas output, it heats the oven fairly quick. Quicker than charcoal and lumber combination. However it does not reach temperatures as high as those. In fact, it struggles to get past 430C. As soon as I regulate it to a medium output the oven starts losing heat instead of maintaining it. I would expect this to happen on a low setting. Not on medium. This probably tells more about the oven then the gas attachment, but still worth mentioning. The instructions manual should also mentioned how to safely add and remove the hose. Which is definitely the hardest part about the installation/yearly maintenance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is rock solid. It never goes out and reaches super high temps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pizza oven with propane burner is great for either very wet Neapolitan dough with the burner on full blast for 90 seconds or to cook one pizza at medium heat for 6-8 minutes. In order to cook a pizza both to and bottom for 8 minutes the oven needs to be at full blast until the stone is as hot as possible, drop the pizza, and turn it down to low so the top does not burn. To cook another pizza, the process needs to be repeated. The oven does not keep the pizza stone hot enough when not on full blast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gas burner has not worked for me. It is very difficult to get a clean burn with it and the igniter has stopped working. It has only been used twice and as such I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the burner.

Really love how fast it heats up compared to charcoal and wood. Will be trying a few things like baking bread. Being able to control the temp is a must. Didn’t have any issues with the burner staying lit as described in other reviews. you def have to hold the knob for 5 seconds, I’m assuming there is some kind of thermocouple that permits the gas to stay on? Got the oven up to 880° with the flu open so it should hit 900°+ with it closed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love baking my pizzas with wood. However, gas is a way more practical and clean solution. The gas burner works very well, is easy to operate, and easier to control the temperature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to take a long period to reach optimal temperature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sticking to wood for now. Gas will be backup. Trying to figure out how to put some Oak or Hickory chips near the gas burner or on the stone to start smoking some and get the wood fired flavor and the best of both worlds. Something for the engineers to figure out at Ooni.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once the burner gets lit it performs ver well; oven temperature comes up quickly and is easily to control. The problem is getting the burner lit and staying lit for the first 30 seconds or so. The burner NEVER lights by way of the sparker I always need to use a lighter or propane torch to light the burner. Also for the first 30 seconds or so of being lit you have to pay very close attention to the burner as it frequently goes out. ; you need to keep raising and lowering the gas volume to keep the flames lit. After the first 30 seconds or so the burner performs flawlessly. I guess I had expected more from Ooni.
