So Far, We Love The Ooni Pizza Oven!

So far, we love our Ooni pizza oven. Simple to setup with my gas line connection. No additional hardware needed. I assembled a stainless steel cart, unpacked the oven, unfolded the legs, snap connected the gas line, and, voila, toasty hot pizza oven. We need to fine tune the timing of the pizza cook, but that will come with experience.

I’m someone loved this thing. It is so compact and easy to bring around everywhere we want to go and make pizza. Love the tight chamber which helps keep a lot of heat inside the cavity. Can’t wait to to make pizza again already.

Clearly A Learning Curve

I want to love it and think maybe we will get there but after 3 duds, we are a bit stumped and will have to take to Google to figure out how to make this work. Our pizzas are turning out tasting burnt and the middles are completely raw. We've tried longer pre-heat, moving it around more, lower heat. . . . I'm at a loss. We do not use a ton of toppings. Thin sauce or simply thing sliced heirloom tomatoes in place of sauce. Will give it a few more tries but this is much more difficult to get right than we expected.

The initial purchase was for pizza but discovered it is also great for cooking steaks, pork chops and bread. Heats up and cools down quickly.

Family Fun

We love this oven. The kids enjoy making their own pizzas and watching them cook. Very solid and well built. We paired it with the medium cart which built very well.
