Awesome Pizza Oven!

Bought the Ooni Koda 2 gas pizza oven as a gift for my adult son. It’s the gift that keeps on giving! Have used it three times & it makes delicious pies! Once we got the temperature setting dialed & picked up the hang of turning the pizzas, we were turning out perfectly cooked pies.

Koda 2. . Gas Fired.

First impressions: oven is great. I need to learn the oven with more usage. Thermal gun said stone was 600f front, 700f back. Crust burned/toasted before raw egg was cooked. I’ll try diff techniques and better rotations. 20-30min pre heating. I make uber thin neo pizza crusts. I pre cook crust maybe 30sec , then remove to add toppings as this help get a loaded pizza off the peel easier for me.

New Design Koda

After using the original design which would easily burn the crust closest to the burners unless you were constantly turning the pie, the new burner orientation solved that issue. Flame easily controlled, and a half turn to finish the pie in about 2 to 3 minutes. Major difference in the two designs. Only issue was the "included" battery was not.
