I tried a friend's orange whip a year ago while warming up just before we teed off, and I was impressed. It seems to inhibit the tendency to start the downswing too soon. I also thought, because of its weight, that it might help me gain some swing speed. I've owned mine for a couple of weeks, and I honestly feel that it has helped me strengthen my shoulders, forearms and hands. It has also encouraged a fuller wrist cock, which seems to be improving my distance with the driver somewhat. I'm excited to see more improvement with continued use. Obviously, Father Time is undefeated, but I'm going to make the best of what I have left for as long as I can.
