Oru Beach Review

This is an amazing boat! The engineering is amazing! It is functional and lightweight. I added a yoga mat strip beneath the seat cushion as the cushion has a tendency to slip. I would advise Taking some time to make all the adjustments to foot bar, seat and seat back before floating. Unfortunately some of these need to be made each time boat Is assembled as the adjustment is lost when folding the boat. I have a rigid boat that I will be using for longer trips. It tracks well, has a storage console, and is a bit more comfy. But this boat is good for my hourlong trips. Or taking along on my hubbys fishing trips so I can explore while he hunts

It's easy to store. Super easy to transport. The color stands out from the competition. It sits high on the water. It maneuvers easily. It's sleek & fast in the water. I love it! So Far So Good

Right now its cold in Michigan so I will wait to take it out in the spring/summer. Right now I am putting it together and putting it back together for practice.

Works Great For Tall Guy

Being 6’4” (170 lbs) with 36” inseam legs and size 14 feet, I was worried. But after trying the Beach LT out on a lake for 2 hours (5-6 miles), I’m happy with the comfortable fit with plenty of room and adjustment range left for taller people. Compared to my similar sized conventional kayak (Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120) the Beach LT is a bit faster. But it also tracks less well and is more tippy due to the more v-shaped bottom. Small prices to pay for the easy transport advantages.

Love My Oru Beach Lt!

I bought my original Oru a little over 3 years ago, and this past summer I got stuck on a submerged log and but the time I was able to get off it, I had created a hole in the bottom of the kayak! I tried to repair it, but have not yet had success. I’m going to keep trying! When I saw your sale of 30% off with a free paddle, I took advantage and purchased a new Beach LT! Although I have not yet received the free paddle, which I’m hopeful is on its way, I am excited to have two Beach LT’s (once I fix my older one) in order to have the ability to go out paddling with a friend whenever I’d like!

Beach Lt

Loved my first journey in my Beach LT kayak. Great ride, comfortable seat! The video instructions were so helpful with step by step directions on building and re-folding the kayak. Can’t wait to take my dog!

Beach Lt Not Holding Shape

Took me Beach LT for first try today, right away noticed of the 2 bottom center seams in front of seat, the right seam was bowed in due to water pressure, left seam stayed ridged. Have you had reports like this before? If not mine must be defective. Did not instill confidence being able to push against bulge on right side of floor. Please advise Thank you, kayak has potential, not satisfied with this issue

Great Kayak For The Lake

Easy to assemble - even the first time wasn’t bad with frequent reference to the assembly video. Easy to use. Perfect for the very tall (I’m 6’7” or 2m). Kept up with plastic recreational kayaks pretty well.

Where Is It?

Where is it? Fedex lost it. You are supposed to send me another because I bought the shipping insurance. And nothing.

Very Happy I Invested In My Beach Lt

I have only used a kayak only once before so I don’t come from a place of experience. I am very pleased with how the kayak went together and how quickly I was on the water. I felt it was very stable. Overall a very positive experience.
