Perfect For Day Hikes

Having recently purchased a Hikelite 26 to replace my old day pack, I couldn't be happier. It's perfect for those long day hikes with plenty of space and the classic functionality of Osprey. The Airspeed back not only spreads the load but does a fantastic job of stopping that horrible sweaty back feeling you get from other brands.

Great Backpack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ideal size for a day hike in Spring when additional layers need to be stored and accessed, stored and accessed, stored and access - you get the idea. Weight seems to disappear - a fabulous item, well thought out design and quality finishing touches. Very pleased with it

The Perfect Daypack!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this pack. It is comfortable, the perfect size, and the color pops!

Hikelite™ 18 Hiking Backpack.

I bought this backpack as a gift for my husband. We took it on a walking holiday in the Yorkshire dales. It was great, fitted loads in it. He’s loves the back structure that distributes the weight on his back and also kept him cool, no sweaty t-shirt . It’s a little pricey for a backpack but is definitely good quality and well made.

Another Great Pack

Have several Osprey packs and this one doesn’t disappoint! Only reason it’s not 5 star is it arrived with one of the zips stuck on an inside tab and it took me ages to free it!

Excellent Buy

I’m very happy with my new backpack. Very lightweight. Just what I need for trips.

Nice Bag But Be Wary

The bag is nice, but I found the netting across my shoulders/back quite tight and it immediately made my muscles tense up, I imagine over a long day would cause discomfort as there’s not much give in it

Day Pack

Excellent day pack. With straps for poles and waterproof cover which is not always available with smaller packs

Poor

It leaks. Has only one bucket pocket, None on the lower belt.

Fine But Not For Us

We ended up returning as it was too small for our needs

Great Features, Comfortable And Reliable Backpack

I’ve been using this backpack for a while now and I have to say, one of its great features is the smart design that balances comfort and functionality. The padded shoulder straps make it really comfortable to carry, even when it’s fully loaded. I also love the multiple compartments—it’s easy to keep everything organized, from my laptop to small accessories. The material feels durable and water-resistant, so I don’t have to worry about sudden rain. Overall, it’s a stylish, practical, and reliable backpack that works perfectly for both daily use and travel.

Love It 🥰

I have used the Hikelite18 a few times and I love it. Very comfortable on the hiking. However, I would have prefer to have extra storage space. You only have the top one and the main one. But overall I recommend it.

I Love My Hikelite Backpack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my hikelite backpack. It fit my back perfectly and was great for my day hikes in the Sierra Nevada. There was a perfect amount of room for my poles, sunscreen, snacks and water.

Absolutely No Complaints. Has Everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely no complaints. Has everything I was looking for in a backpack. Especially for those shorter day hikes. Nice size for putting all the essentials.

Super Comfortable, Good Usability

This is my first day pack with internal frame. It makes it very comfortable to wear, balancing the weight down onto my hips (even unbelted and even wearing it on one shoulder) and the frame with mesh back keeps my back cooler even in 93 degree humid weather. The pockets aren't ideal. The top front pocket is very small (and if you put a heavy phone there it is unbalanced). The internal (water or laptop) pocket is deep - so anything small put in there is lost to posterity (beware). The water bottle pockets on the side fit a smaller water bottle easily but tougher with anything larger. I used it as a carry on (personal item) and no complaints from the flight attendants about how it fit under the seat in front of me, though the top did stick out a little and I found it to be a bit in the way of stretching my lets. It fit a ton of stuff - I had an umbrella and rain jacket, wallet, cosmetic size bag with electronic cables and earbuds, cosmetic bag with actual cosmetics, book, magazine, two journals, an airport shopping bag (small), and small cosmetic bag with meds in there. There is a helpful clip to attach your neck pillow! It also has a rain cover in a pouch at the bottom that was very useful in a downpour, if a little hard to extract and put in place on the fly.
