I Love This Pack!
Oscar and I (yes, he deserves a name and no, I've never named my packs before) have just done a two-day 30 mile hike. He easily accommodated my wet weather and overnight gear. The waist strap held the pack securely and I love the lack of other straps. Leaves the pack looking and feeling tidy and fit for purpose, which it is! I expect Oscar and I be together for a long time and through many adventures.

Osprey Hikelite 32
Ideal size, not fussed on the top, if anything in the top pocket it collapses the bag down, prefer the hikelite26 which has a different top and the is not an issue

Frames Are Essential
Rucksacks/day packs etc are all excellent particularly because they are framed so allow ventilation across your back plus proper distribution of weight onto your hips - superb products

Seems To Be A Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to be a great pack. I made a mistake in ordering the 32 liter pack, though. Not large enough for El Camino for me. I should have ordered a 40 liter. C'est dommage. I'll use the one I bought in 2010 for my first camino. Just needs some tape where there is a small rip. All good.

I Was Looking For A
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a good day pack, for a trip up to Washington state. I love osprey packs. The quality of their products are always five stars. The price for this quality is amazing. Thanks to all of the people from osprey.

I Love The Rucksack, However
I love the rucksack, however the waistband straps and the chest straps are way too long. I'm 5ft 5 inches tall and bought a small frame size.

Only A 4 Star Because
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] only a 4 star because I have not yet used the pack yet. I am a long time Osprey backpack guy but most excited about the Hikelite due to the vent between the pack and my back to keep things a little cooler with air flow. It appears to be a solid quality pack that you expect from Osprey.

Nice Fit And Very Lightweight,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice fit and very lightweight, but the shape and interior space are not as expected. It feels much smaller than 30L, and due to it's odd, highly curved space, very hard to fit anything here that's not a small item.

Still Getting Used To It,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still getting used to it, like the many pockets and compartments and the large main area which holds so much. The adjustable straps allow one to adjust the pack to their body. Great pack.

A Very Decent Pack Indeed,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very decent pack indeed, I mostly use it for single-day hikes when I'm going light, under 10kg. It pretty comfortably fits the necessities (first aid kit, headlight, sunglasses, emergency blanket, lighter, etc) along with 1-day worth of food and water, jetboil, coffee stuff and a couple of extra layers including puffy jacket. What I did like: pretty spacious 32l daypack, good back and waist support, integrated rain cover, roomy and sturdy back pocket with mesh extension, upper compression straps with fastex lock. What I didn't like: relatively small and not very comfortable lid-pocket, the waist only has one zippered pocket, the other one is useless mesh, no stow-on-the-go attachment. Generally, attaching both trekking poles or something relatively big to the sides makes opening the pack very inconvenient, these attached items get in the way of zipper. Not very high-quality zippers, my other osprey packs have better ones. It would also be nice to have bottom straps (detachable, at least) to pack a table or sleeping pad (sometimes I take one even on day hikes). Also - one of the really expensive ones for 32l :(
