It Was A Miss For Me

The Good: Beautiful purple color; perfect size; well-made; convertible to use on left or right shoulder. The Not-So-Good: Stiff material that made the bag feel bulky; zippers difficult to operate; lack of smaller organization compartments causing small things go to the bottom; uncomfortable; needs constant adjustments; the mesh "pocket" on the strap is too small to be useful; zipper orientation makes it difficult to get things in and out without taking the pack off. As much as I wanted to love this pack, I did not, and returned it.

The New Design Is Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new design is better than the old one. i love the strap and just the right amount of padding to not feel bulky but still comfortable. The almighty guarantee is for real. I’m buying only osprey packs from now on. it was a breeze to submit my warranty. only sad part is you have to pick from the current selection so if your pack isn’t on the menu you have to go with something new.

I Use My Sling Bag

Fits a phone and slim wallet in the front zipper pouch while having great space for 2 water bottles in the bigger pocket or a water bottle and sunscreen! Very versatile uses! Great quality! Strap is not too thick like a similar bag from another company. I definitely like this design better, as I returned the other one I purchased and kept my Osprey!!

This Replaced A Previous Version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a previous version which had an issue. In general, it's as good or better. Certainly, I appreciate the new pocket on the strap (the old one was far less useful). (I miss that my old bag was purple, but this color isn't great. ) My primary complaint is that the new bag uses a hook-and-eye type attachment to anchor the strap rather than the previous version which used a carabiner. This feels far less secure and I worry that the (plastic) hook will break.

Nice Size And Quality

I love Osprey bags. I’m able to fit one 12 oz bottle and one 24 oz bottle inside for when we visit the park.

The Color Is Great, Mahogony,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color is great, mahogony, zippers move easily and it is meant to last. Only negative comment, the inner mesh zipped pocket is a little narrow. This is not a problem for me, but a big guy may find that tricky.

Adjustable Carry Strap Is The

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adjustable carry strap is the clincher. Reminds me of my messenger bag and swings around just as easy for immediate access. The pouch on the carry strap is marketed for sunglasses, but it’s too small for that. I put my spork in there… The daisy chains are also a great feature on the front, allows me to strap on a water bottle along with a nite-ize carabiner or two. I was reluctant to get a sling until I got this pack, now my kiddo got one too and we’re both quite pleased.

Great Sling Bag!

This has been the best sling bag I've owned! Comfortable, lots of space, and I use it everyday to carry the stuff I need, and still have space. Worth the price. I'm hard on my bags and bought two. Still on the first bag and it's still in awesome shape! Highly recommend

The Quality When I First

The straps are the quality I would find in one of your larger packs. I love the deep pockets and even the netted pocket has a zipper. The quality amazed me. I still have my 20 year old backpack from Osprey and I see this become easily one I will have for many years. Thank you Osprey.

Excellent All Round Sling. Good
