I Love The Way The

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the way the hip belt keeps the weight off my shoulders. The Siris 24L is perfect for a day hike or for a 2-3 day trip. I really like the idea of the pockets on the waist belt, but it doesn’t work. This feature is disappointing—the pockets are not reachable. The fabric part of the belt should be longer so the pockets are in front of your hip bones. I thought maybe my pack was too small but a seasoned backpacker said no; this is just a design flaw. Otherwise, I love the pack and will keep it. It’s just too bad this good idea doesn’t work.

It's Pretty Perfect For A

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's pretty perfect for a day hike. Has good amounts of compartments. everything is well balanced. really can't think of anything negative to say about it.

I Took It Out Of

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took it out of the box, put it on, adjusted it and immediately wanted to fill it with stuff and go on a hike! It's gorgeous, well made, intuitive compartments and zippers, and really comfortable. I especially appreciate the ability to adjust the strap length to accommodate my apparently longer torso. The color wasn't important to me, but now that it is here, it is a subtle blue, pairing well with whatever I might have on. It was on the sale rack, so to speak, so I do hope other current and future designs make the little hip belt zipper pouches a little larger to hold a current smart phone- it's a really tight fit- whatever, I just like having it avail to take pics of amazing scenery here in Hawaii!!. The pack is roomy enough to hold a layer on the bottom, then water bottles on top of them, and plenty of snacks in the forward compartment. A spot for my sunglasses, a red hook for my keys, and sits off my back with the vented panel to reduce the back sweat that gets chilly later. Looking for a hike to break it in and can update after I have taken it out for a spin.

I Love Osprey Packs. This

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Osprey packs. This is a free replacement under their lifetime warranty after the webbing on my load lifters wore through. It fits like a glove and holds everything I need for an all-day hike. My previous Sirrus 24 walked the Camino and the Kumano Kodo with me. I was sad to see it go but I am completely satisfied with the replacement. I like the few changes that were made from the older model. The new pockets hold more and are deep enough that I won't lose things. I like the fit a little better. It is more adjustable. I've taken out a few times already and absolutely love it! Thank you, Osprey. It was a breeze making the exchange.

Great Back

So comfortable. Has lots of different compartments. V helpful

Seems Good But Beware Of The Video!

Just got this backpack (24L) and the size and pockets are great for compartmentasing your things. The support is good and I don't feel like I'm carrying a heavy backpack which is what I need for work! Adjustable back is also good and you don't even notice the plastic holes which I was a tad worried about when purchasing. A word of warning about the marketing video (and some feedback for Osprey): The man says that every volume includes a bottom-access zip, sleeping back compartment and removable accessory straps—THESE DO NOT COME ON THE 24L SIZE, ONLY THE 34L AND UP. It's not the end of the world, as I can use the ice axe loop for my tripod, but if you don't read carefully enough, you may be disappointed. Other than that a good-sized day pack that fits heavier coats etc. Also a great plus that it comes with a raincover!

I Am An Osprey Girl

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an Osprey girl for life! The airspeed mesh back is a must! I hiked with a standard Stratos24 for 10 years. I went to a shop to try on new packs and the Sirrus fits like a dream! The extra pockets are in the right places!

Excellent Fit And Features! I

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent fit and features! I am petite and it fits my torso perfectly.

Over Engineered

First let me say, I'm a fan of osprey packs however this daypack doesn't seem to pack well imo. If you put a full bladder in the pack, it doesn't leave a lot of space for anything else. I felt it had too many pockets and zippers which just added to the weight. The hipbelt pockets were too small to hold a regular iphone. I had to return it, hopefully it will be updated.

Great Fit; Nice Daypack

I have two other Osprey packs and love the women-specific features. I bought this Sirrus for casual hiking and walking to town for groceries and other supplies. I got the right fit after watching a Youtube that showed that the hipbelt pad in front should be centered over the pelvic bone - not above it as I had incorrectly done. The torso adjustment "ladder" is a nice feature. I am 5'7" and measured my torso at 15.6", and found the second shortest adjustment to work the best at keeping the shoulder straps from riding up. This is really a comfortable and well fitting pack for me.

Nowhere To Carry Phone For Easy Access

Regular iPhone doesn't fit in hip pockets and there's nowhere to carry your phone in the pack for easy access. This is a super annoying! Everyone needs easy phone access- whether it be to access downloaded trail map info or for taking photos. I didn't like the way that trekking poles are stowed either. They kept coming loose and swinging (It could've been due to the hiking terrain of climbing and bending?) Apart from that, the pack was very comfortable on a 12 mile hike with a lot of bouldering and climbing. I'm 5'9 and the fit was perfect. I wouldn't buy this pack again or recommend it- there are other packs out there that can accommodate a phone.

Beautiful Pack With One Problem

The pack is sturdy, has lots of pockets and has useful features like a whistle, attachable rain cover and breathable back. Unfortunately I can’t use it as the pockets on the hip straps are placed right where my forearms hit. They leave rub burns on my arms and there doesn’t seem to be a way to solve the problem. I’ve tried several times with the same issue to the point I’ve taken the pack off during a hike. I’m disappointed as I really wanted it to work but can’t get around the pockets brushing against my arms.
