[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new backpack is roomy and easy to use. I love the hip pockets have a nice fabric cover. My old pack had mesh pockets that ripped easily. It's a very nice bag, comfortable and fits well.

Took My First Hike With
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took my first hike with the Talon last week. Comfortable and secure, and the integrated back panel and waist belt really helped keep the weight off my shoulders and spine. I thought I would not like having my trekking pole routed underneath my left arm when not in use, but it turns out that the location was handy and I didn’t need to stop hiking when deploying or securing my trekking pole. Looking forward to many more adventures with this pack.

A Good Pack That Has
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good pack that has the potential to be great with a few minor changes. 1. Put the water bladder in the inside similar to packs such as the Stratos line. The external bladder sleeve is such an asspain to get a bladder into and the minimal benefit isn’t worth the annoyance of putting in and taking out the bladder. I almost didn’t buy the pack solely based on this limfac. 2. Remove the pocket on the left shoulder. It’s oddly shaped, of minimal use, and the snap kept popping open with any tension on the shoulder strap. 3. Recommend having a built in duck’s back cover pocket on the bottom of the pack. I used the outside zipper pocket to store a (not included) duck’s back, but would like an included one to live on the bottom of the bag. 4. Add a magnetic attachement on the chest strap. Using an Osprey 2.5L bladder with magnetic hose retainer had minimal value as there was no mate on the backpack itself.

Heading Out Next Week With
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heading out next week with the pack. First observation is that the pack bridges the gap between a normal ‘backpack’ and a larger multi day pack. The size is great and the pockets are well thought out. Should be perfect for longer day hikes.

Works Great For A Smaller
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great for a smaller pack when you don't need the volume. It is very comfortable and allows freedom of movement with your arms.
