Excellent Expedition Bag

I'm an archaeologist and just got back from a month in the field in rural southern Ethiopia. This bag was flown, tied to 4x4 trucks, and secured to a donkey for the last (and then first) leg of the trip and everything inside was safe, sound and fresh throughout. Tough bag. Love the reasonable size, simple easy-to-grab and heft handles, and waterproof protections. I'm impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 1 month ago just before a 3 week adventure/photography trip, Island hopping in the Philippines during rainy season. This was my only bag besides the gear bags. Extreme heat, rain, sand, 3 typhoons, waves, everything extreme. It held up perfectly, kept my essentials secure and dry. It is also carry on size and lockable for international travel. All the carrying positions are well thought out, as I used them all in different scenarios.
