Tough And Built To Last

I have had this backpack for 8 years, I bought it for traveling by rail on week long trips to Scotland to make my life easier by having my hands free for dealing with ticket barriers through London underground. I have been blown away with how much this bag has made my trips easier. I'm used to carrying backpacks to and from work everyday but the way the straps takes the weight off your back and puts it round your hips means it feels so much lighter and you are able to manoeuvre with ease. It fits on every overhead luggage rack I've ever used, including Ryanair! It's sturdy as anything and can fit a surprising amount of stuff in it. I'm only just now looking at a bigger size of backpack as now I have a 5 year old to take on my travels and she is eating up my packing space! We still managed a trip up this week with 5 days worth of clothes, toiletries and travel entertainment with just this backpack and a little pack for her but her soft toy nearly pushed us past it's limits. I will still be using this for solo trips. Buy it, you won't regret it!

No Bottle Holder

My fault for not looking at pictures and reading the list of features well enough but when it came in the mail, I was surprised it does not have a water bottle holder on the side, especially since it is advertised as being great for hiking.

Packed It All Summer

This is a great pack for both car and airline travel. I pack smart with packing compressors packing cubes but I wouldn’t say I pack light and I had plenty of space. The waist belt allows me to comfortably carry this pack through the airport. The straps stow easily and it fits in the overhead bin.
