Perfect size for a long hike or a weekend away. Sits super comfy, weight distribution is great, which is a rare find as a woman. I love my bag!

Big fan of this bag. Colour (fig) is cute, hip and shoulder straps are comfortable even when the bag is heavy and it fits everything with many convenient places to access things. Plus it's suitable as an under-the-seat airport bag. Thanks Osprey!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit is perfect for me. I have a shorter torso and this works great. It reminds of my old Sirrus. It is roomy enough to hold hiking gear for a full day. I especially love the front stuff pocket. I will be using this for my upcoming Camino in Spain.

Robust, comfortable, sufficient internal and external pockets, nice colour. I really love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The red Talon 22 had been my day pack for 26 years (i've last count). I loved it. It was the perfect size, fit everything I needed to have on my back. It traveled the world with me. I replaced it once and again recently I had to replace it again. I figured the Tempest 22 was going to be comparable and it is not. I do not care for the hard back. It has limited storage space, less pockets, the color is dull. I am sooo disaopointed. I keep looking on line for the old Talon 22. Very sad.

So glad I decided to spend a bit extra to get an osprey women’s bag. Did 5 days hiking in the Dolomites and barely noticed I was carrying it - and usually rucksacks give me backache within an hour. Worth every penny

Loving this pack, for commuting into town on my bike. Only thing it’s missing is a waterproof cover - luckily, I still have the one from my old pack!

Replacement pack arrived sooner than expected and has already become home for waterbottle, keepcup, binoculars, headtorch, field glass and waterproof trousers - expecting it to last as long as the original, maybe outliving my knees!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was wonderful to receive a brand new pack since my old one could not be repaired. I used it today for the first time and it was great. I am very grateful. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third Osprey pack. Love the guarantee! I use this pack for day hiking in the mountains. Sometimes in cold weather, I start out wearing warm layers, but need to gear down along the trail. I like that this pack can contain my pack-able winter jacket and light or medium fleece. The main compartment also holds microspikes, binoculars and snacks. The deep mesh pockets securely hold my water bottles, extra hat and heavier gloves. The adjustable fit makes this a perfect pack for me.

I am delighted with my new Tempest, it fits very comfortably and looks stylish. The design suits me on long rambles in wild places and also useful on short trips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 8 years, I just replaced my very well loved Talon (thank you Osprey guaranty) with the Tempest. Great fit and air circulation, great color with all the features I've grown to love (accessible hip pockets, hiking pole straps and water bladder hook) and the women's version fits me better (5'3). I've used it primarily for day hikes (5-10 miles) and comfortably holds all the essentials. The only things I miss is the outside bungee cord which made my rain jacket more accessible. Highly recommend this pack

The rucksack is comfortable to carry with the adjustable straps and hip band helping to balance the load. There is plenty of room in the bag for a day hike and the side pockets are ideal for drinks. The pole attachment works well and the trekking poles when in position don’t get in the way. The front pocket is big enough to carry maps, gloves, a light jacket etc. In addition there is a smaller zipped pocket. The internal space is uncluttered but has a couple of useful pockets. The women’s fit allows the bag to sit comfortably. The hip strap and chest strap are adjustable and long enough for the fuller figure. The zipped hip pockets are accessible meaning you don’t have to remove the rucksack to access items such as sunblock, wallet etc. Internally there is space for a hydraulics pouch. I thought long and hard before buying this rucksack without having tried it out but am very pleased with its quality, comfort and features.
