I bought these sun gloves for use during hiking up the various peaks and mountains around the PNW. I have found them to be very comfortable in weather from right around 30 degrees (going uphill) and up. They feel great against the skin, maintain dexterity, and are cell-phone compatible.

Bought my second pair a few months back. I tried inexpensive alternates but they tend to be sweaty and don't last long. My first pair from OR were fingerless. This time I chose the full-fingered ones. Folding back the finger and thumb to use a touchscreen was more difficult than just removing the glove. My solution was to cut off the tips of index finger and thumb. Works perfectly! And the gloves are good quality so I've had no unraveling of seams during a 5-week backpack. And my other 8 digits have full coverage.

Great sun gloves BUT seems like something changed with the touch-sensitive fabric on the thumb and index finger. It is not nearly as sensitive as my prior pair of ActiveIce gloves. Maddening when trying to take phone pictures. It would also be much better if the touch portion extended higher up onto the tip of the thumb/finger. Much more common to use the finger tip with a cell phone than the pad of the finger.

have owned these superb sun protection gloves for years. Expensive but worth it. very breathable and light on your hands. I most often use them as driving gloves, and they have prevented the brown age spots that come with exposure to too much sun while driving. The palms are fairly thin preforated leather, so not designed as work gloves. Highly recommend!

I like the fit and functionality of these gloves. They work well in summer in hot humid climates like where I live. However the suede-like palm and finger material is weak and developed holes after only a few uses. I replaced them with new ones and the touch screen pads on the finger tips do not work for touch screens but seem to be heavier duty than the original material so maybe they will last longer.

These gloves are true to size, well made, and offer sun protection that is hard to find. In addition they are so comfortable that I forget that I am wearing gloves.

I just used these gloves while spending time in Zion. I was afraid they'd get too hot being black, but I did not experience too much heat and the palm side of the gloves allows for good airflow. I used these while hiking angels landing and the gloves held up holding on to rocks and the chain. Kept my hands from sun damage. I would advise these for folks looking for full coverage.

I've worn these on a few hikes now and they live up to the 5 stars! Very light and breathable with all the protection from the elements. I love the placement of the padding as it makes hiking with trekking poles so much easier! A piece of gear every hiker or backpacker should own!

They fit perfect. They don't make your hand sweat and they keep the sun off your hands and they protect your hands from the tracking poles. Excellent

Thin and tactile, with just enough protection. Breathable so my hands don't get too hot. Touch sensitivity is very appreciated. Excellent support from OR. I only wish I could get it without the giant OR logo, but they are great gloves!

I loved my yellow zinger full sun gloves. But OR seems to have stopped making them. I lost my last pair on a bus in the Italian Dolomites. The current colors are not so fun. I am hoping for another production run.

I like the fit of these gloves but would not recommend them to others for three reasons: 1. Primarily, these do not last long! I only wore them as driving gloves and they quickly developed holes. They started displaying severe signs of wear after 2 weeks. 2. The 'conductive' finger pads do not work for touchscreen input. 3. "Infinite Guarantee" is a joke. When I reported these issues to support, I was offered black tape to repair them... black tape?

Sunscreen on the hands is not great for active pursuits, so these light coloured gloves with full wrist coverage give me the sun protection that I need -- and yes, I look totally dorky, like Alice. I had a pair of brightly coloured cycling gloves but they never covered my wrists, so I was thrilled when I found these online. My friend bought a pair too as soon as she saw mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like most of the outdoor gear that protects me, I look dorky wearing it but it's so worth it. I got these to protect my hands from the sun, and it does that! It also helps with blisters from using piles and is warm if it's very windy. They can get a little hot, the the palm side has a lot of ventilation which is great. Wish they had a size XS though.
