Great Base Layer Tour Shift

Awesome base layer shirt. Hood is versatile. Great for splitboarding.

I Would Not Hesitate Buying This Versatile Top

I wore this today during a 9 Mile run in 46° weather. I used it as a second layer. I had a tight fitting t-shirt underneath and then over it I did a synthetic long sleeve and then over that I did another synthetic long sleeve quarter zip. I removed the top layer and left just the synthetic long sleeve over top of it so it was basically a mid layer. It definitely is perfect for taking off the chill when you stop running. You can pull the hood up. If it's super cold, you can cover your mouth and nose. And I definitely appreciate the thumb holes to keep the long sleeves in place for when I'm layering. It is much warmer than I expected, yet very adjustable to my varying temperatures throughout the warm-up, exercise, and then cool down. I would not hesitate buying this versatile top.

Not Quite Merino

The fabric feels more like polyester than merino wool. Otherwise it has a great fit and function as an under layer.

Warm Enough Yet?

Great for chilly mornings, and expect this to live in the car.

Extremely Light But Warm For Late Nights And Early Mornings

This hoodie makes for a great base while doing wildlife surveys either before sunrise or after sunset. Keeps you warm without needing to wear any bulky outer layers and is very comfortable. Material is stretchy and flexible but feels strong. I also didn't feel like I got too hot wearing it while hiking between survey locations. Haven't had the chance to test it in truly could weather yet, but seems like it would be a good base for that as well.
