Really solid pair of athletic shorts, I like that there is no liner to them, they are not too long and baggy but not quite PT shorts short. Light weight nice material.

I have multiple pairs of these shorts now. Great quality, durable enough to withstand consistent workouts and the outdoors for hiking. The 7 inch length is most comfortable for me, I like my shorts some distance from the knee. Also, great price!

The Outdoor Research - Men's Astro Short 7" is my favorite pair of shorts. They are super comfortable and stretchy, dry easily and don't look like a hot mess after a long day on the trail or in the yard. Please don't change these, OR.

New Favorite Shorts

I've had these for over a month now and >10 workouts. They fit great, size M for an athletic-but-not-huge guy, 6'2" 200# with a waistline that varies 31-33". Quick drying, great for runs and everything else I've done in them. They'll be right at home for daily wear when the weather warms up. If durability maintains, these are a 10/10 for me. Quality feels just a bit better than comparable Patagonia shorts.
