Belt Only Tightens On One Side???

There's a piece of elastic at the center of the belt that seems to be sewed into the waistband at the back. Only the right side of the belt is adjustable, so if you need to tighten the belt a lot, it will bunch up on the right side and the buckle will shift over to the right. Why, OR design team??? I almost couldn't believe they were designed this way, but we looked at a few pairs in the retail store and they all had this "feature". Seemed like nice pants otherwise.

Great All Weather Adventure Pants

I can't speak more highly of both these pants and the jacket. Both stretchy and comfortable, and also breathable. Don't feel like I'm wearing a plastic poncho at all. And they kept me totally dry all day hiking in Peru during the rainy season.

Good Fit, Poor Longevity.

Love the fit and stretch for climbing. I find myself messing with the belt system more than other brands, but the built in elasticity is comfortable. The main reason for the low rating is the fact that the material pills badly even under light wear/washing, which is disappointing given the price of the product since it effects the look considerably. Aesthetics aside, these are great light duty pants.
