Being an avid kayaker and an outdoor enthusiast it is important that I have gear that does not add bulk, but also protects from the sun. It breathes well and quickly dries. And the summers, here are atrocious so the lighter the better. This checks all the boxes.

I have two of these. Perfect for long fishing trips, long paddles, hiking, or really hot outdoor rec. not the most durable thing in the world due to its design to be thin and very breathable. It knocks its intended use out of the park. Sun protection, highly breathable, and dried fast. Careful hiking through heavy brush - you will get snags.

I use these long sleeve silk weiggt shirts for summer paddling. they give just enough protection from sun, wick and dry fast.

Looking for a lightweight, hot weather long sleeve to wear on a 400 mile Journey race. So far I love this shirt and really think it will work well for race week.

Got this to replace a 25+ year old Nike ACG baselayer that is still wearable. I bought this for it's slick and soft material, color (I love brighter colored base layers) raglan shoulder sleeves and OR's size/fit. This is actually my first OR top I've ever purchased and I am so happy that the fit is perfect in the body/torso and sleeve length. Follow the size guide and know your own size dimensions and you can't go wrong. I can't believe how this extremely ultra light layer keeps me so warm. I hope OR continues to offer bright color options for this echo long sleeve crew base layer because the fit is perfect for me. Not too tight, but not loose and baggy. Really impressed with OR's products so far.
