Bring Back The 2019 Style!

Bring back the 2019 style! The new style is extremely tight - not at all suited to active pursuits - and the fabric is much rougher. The old Ferrosi material was smooth, the new one is like fine grit sandpaper, which irritates the skin (itching, pinching) and causes undergarments to bunch up and cause wedgies.

Very Versitle Pair Of Hiking Pants.

Love these pants. Had them for three years and they have held up great considering how light and breathable they feel. I tend to be hard on things and the seams, zippers and fabric did great. Two years ago, spent a week in them hiking the Grand Sawtooth Loop in Idaho. This summer did a two week through hike in England and these were my every day wear. Start with the legs on in the morning, and take them off at lunch time as it warms up. They layered and breathed well with waterproof pants with the storms came in. Only thing i didn't like was the look around the crotch. I would would buy again

Not As Durable As Old Ferrosi Pant

Not as durable or water resistant as old Ferrosi pant. Compared to the same pants 5 years ago, the new pants are showing signs of wear after one trip. See comparison photos. Lighter colored pant is the new Ferossi material. Did not show any water resistance while walking through dew covered ankle high grass; completely saturated within a few yards.

Poor Quality Material

I really liked these pants for the design, comfort... until I washed them (4times). They are now pilling. The material is defective. Outdoor research may want to do more Research on the material... very disappointed. Can't recommend these pants due to the lack of quality material.

Or Ruined The Best Pair Of Pants Ever Made

Outdoor Research completely ruined the greatest pair of pants ever made. The previous version was my go-to and I still wear them multiple times per week despite the fact that they're starting to fall apart after many years. The new version is torturous - way too tight in the hips and butt, turning them into a perpetual wedgie machine. In addition, the pockets are so unbelievably tight, it feels like I'm trying to cram my hand into a small ball jar every time I need to grab my phone, wallet, or keys. I've worn the new pair several times now and each time I've ripped them off as soon as I got home because they were so uncomfortable. I really hope they fix the pattern of these pants because the material itself is perfect. When they do, I'll buy multiple pairs.

Great Pants

My old pants were OR and lasted forever so when it was time for new ones it was a no brainer to go with these. They are incredibly comfortable. Very soft and very stretchy makes them great pants for any outdoor activity. The legs zip off easily and the pockets are great. Can't say much more about them. Outstanding quality and a great brand who stands behind their products.

Great for hiking in Alaska during the summer. Dries quickly. Exceptionally comfortable.

Nice Pants

Nice stretchy comfy pants.The colour is much lighter than the image. They are khaki colour in the real life.

Comfortable Outdoor Pants/shorts

The pants have a perfect amount of stretch, which makes them comfortable during a day on the trail, and when relaxing around camp afterward. The zippered legs come off and on easily, and the adjustable drawstring at the ankle allows you to cinch it up around your boot to help keep 6-8 legged critters and trail debris out of your shoes. I like them, and they look good with my Scout leader uniform too. I went with the Morel color, as the Verde was a little too green for my tastes.

Incredible Design

these are some of my favorite pants that I own, I love the material, it works well in all elements . I am rough on my clothing, and I have yet to find a set of pants this comfortable that hold up so well to my lifestyle. They have a classy appearance, so I wear them for business casual work, and I use them in my personal life for hiking, running, shooting, and climbing. These being the zip off variant allow me to transition into a more comfortable set of shorts during campsite activities at the end of a long hike, the zipper is high quality and I have had no issues re attaching the legs.

Comfortable And Breathable

These are wonderfully light, fit and move really well, and overall I think I'd trust these anywhere. Great pants.

Great Material!

The best thing about these trousers is that one doesn't feel them at all when being physically active. Anoi great thing is that you can only notice that zip near your knee for the first minute or two, and then you completely forget about it.
