Used it in our first rain of the year while riding the bike and it worked great. Like the side zippers for ventilation.

Not Waterproof - 2 Jackets Both Failed

SO FRUSTRATED with this product!! I have now owned 2 of these jackets, the first I had warrantied and replaced because it was no longer keeping me dry. The 2nd I have had for just over a year now, and I am getting completely soaked once again within 30 minutes of being outside in the rain. I have treated the coat with Nikwax and have followed the instructions meticulously, and yet the coat does not perform whatsoever! Do not spend your money on this coat. Go with a different brand, as this sells for far too much considering how weak the performance is.

Great Jacket For A 3-1

It doesn’t have the nice zipper in the front. at least it’s not visible. but it’s a great jacket anyways

Less “Ultralight”, Better “All-around”

I have extensively used the Gen 2 version of the Foray made with Goretex Paclite. It is thinner and lighter, but it is also less roomy which impacts ability to layer. It is also more plasticky to the touch. This Gen 3 is slightly roomier in the torso and much roomier in the sleeves, and while that may make it a little less fashionable when worn over a tee, it makes it very comfortable to layer with. The textile is also more pleasant to the touch. To me, the Gen 3 feels like a transition from more of a niche slim ultralight shell to a versatile all-around shell, and I think that’s a good thing for most users. Otherwise the feature set remains the same, including the awesome poncho feature. I cannot speak to durability yet, nor breathability in extreme circumstances - but so far I have no reason to believe it will fall short in those regards.

No Longer 3l Gore-tex

I've had several 3L Foray Rain Jackets, and they've all performed perfectly. Always true to size, with a stretchy athletic fit. I was bit bummed to learn that the Foray is being longer constructed with Gore-Tex waterproofing. Still, a solid jacket made by a fantastic manufacturer with an unbeatable "infinite" guarantee.
