This has been a perfect shirt for my mountain biking. It doesn’t look like an old race jersey and is minimal in its design. Feels awesome and I can wear it in cool or warm weather.

I've tried quite a few MTB jerseys over the years, and this one is by far the best. It's lightweight and breathable, seemingly durable (haven't crashed yet, so I can't say for sure), and the UPF sun protection makes a black jersey feel cool even in direct sunlight. The sleeves are sufficiently long (I'm 6'2" and wear a size small, so this is often an issue), and I like that the cuffs aren't fitted. Having the integrated lens cloth in the front of the jersey makes it easier to use, but could stand to be a little larger.

This jersey fits really well and is breathable enough for days up to around 75° with some sun. The material is strong enough to withstand some rock/tree abrasions. The fit feels great and is tight enough to not have a ton of flapping, but not so tight that I feel like I can’t move.

New favorite jersey, need some more color options.

Fit is great, fabric quality is also very nice and light feeling. Very high quality riding shirt. Haven't had a chance to test the longevity/durability yet. Wrong season here to test it out on its own (we are in winter).

Great shirt for riding in cooler weather. I used these recently on a cold weather ride and it worked great given the conditions. Kept me warm enough while being comfortable for the ride. Would recommend this to other riders - beginner or advanced.

Fits true to size, I'm 6'2" 185, size large fits perfect. The material is comfortable, breathes well, and is durable so far. I used to be a short sleeve purist on my rides, but this material is breathable enough that I don't get hot wearing it on sunny days. Plus the long sleeves protect my arms from the sun and branches along narrow trails. The only disadvantage is it "holds the stink" but that is typical for synthetic materials.

Very comfortable and moisture wicking. Fit is great, true to size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OR Freewheel LS jersey works great. The fit for me was spot on; the only thing I'd change is a slightly longer drop tail (I am 6'2"). The fabric and construction was what you'd expect from a company that makes high-end outdoor apparel - breathable, soft, wicking. The sleeve length and fit was so much better than what I am used to - no naked wrists! I really appreciated the little touches - the microfiber wipe on the hem was great for wiping brow sweat off my glasses mid-ride. Overall, I dig this jersey and look forward to seeing what else OR brings to market for the MTB crowd! (Outdoor Research gave me this free product to try.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First and foremost, the comfort level of the MTB jersey is unparalleled. It feels like wearing nothing at all, but in the best way possible. The design seems to mold perfectly to the contours of my body, ensuring comfortable fit throughout my rides. Whether I'm tackling rough terrains or cruising along smooth trails, I never feel any discomfort or irritation, thanks to the thoughtful construction. One of the standout features of the jersey is its exceptional breathability. Regardless of whether it's a chilly morning or a scorching afternoon, the fabric of this bike keeps me cool and comfortable throughout my journey. Even during long rides spanning several hours, I never once felt overheated or sweaty. The breathability of the fabric is truly commendable and adds a whole new level of enjoyment to my cycling adventures. Moreover, the quality of the fabric used in it is simply outstanding. Despite enduring rigorous rides and challenging conditions, the fabric has held up exceptionally well, showcasing its durability and resilience. What's more, it has an impressive ability to stay dry, even when faced with unexpected splashes from muddy trails. This not only enhances my comfort but also gives me the confidence to push my limits without worrying about discomfort or dampness. In conclusion, This jersey exceeded all my expectations in terms of comfort, breathability, and performance. It has truly redefined my cycling experience, making every ride a joyous and comfortable adventure. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, I wholeheartedly recommend investing in it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As you can see in the photo, this has become my favorite trainer jersey as I blew up a ligament in my hand skiing in January. I'm not clear to hold a handlebar yet so it's trainer seasons only for me while my right hand heals. Outdoor Research gave me this free product to try, and I've been enjoying using it on the trainer this February and March. It moves moisture well, but it's slightly thicker than some of my other cooler weather jersey's which makes me grab for it often for garage trainer rides because I stay a little warmer in the garage, especially in the morning when it's extra chilly. I find this jersey to have a roomier fit than other outdoor research products that I own. Typically I have to size up for all things OR, but this one I probably could have stayed with a size medium, but the large is still comfortable and doesn't feel overly baggy. I really dig the color as well. It's a great deep green. Can't wait to use this outside on the trail when the surgeon gives the OK!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OR is known for making extremely high quality clothing, and this shirt is no exception. I spent a day of enduro riding in this shirt the first time I wore it, and usually long rides like that aren't how I like to test new gear in case it's not comfortable. Well to say I was impressed would be an understatement. This shirt is soft and breathable, yet feels heavy enough to offer some protection if I were to hit the deck. I wore the long sleeves on a 80 degree day, and didn't regret it for a second! There were 0 annoying seams, which can be hard to find in jerseys, so that's another huge perk! Highly recommend this jersey for new and old riders alike. Thanks for sending this my way to review OR!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's start with the disclaimer: Outdoor Research gave me this free product to try. With that said, the Freewheel long sleeve jersey genuinely balances breathability and warmth incredibly well. The material was quick drying and did a great job holding in enough body warmth while resting to prevent me getting cold in 40 degree temps. It also kept me sunburn free which is always welcomed. Sizing was perfect while still providing a little extra length to accommodate a hip pack. There was a little stretch in the material which allowed me to comfortably move around without any issue. There are some well thought out features on this jersey that set it apart from others; first, the material was great (see above). Second, the shoulder seams made wearing a backpack for a longer rides comfortable, and third, the microfiber wipe for cleaning sunglasses was in the perfect location even while wearing a hip pack (found this useful right away after accidentally getting sunscreen on my sunglasses). I think the Freewheel jersey will be my go-to going forward and would love to see different color combinations!! I'd recommend this jersey to anyone that prioritizes breathability, temperature regulation, and comfort while riding. I'm also excited to check out the rest of the Freewheel collection from OR!
