Brim Will Not Hold Shape

Like OR products and the hat for the style, wide brim, design of the top with vents, color, etc. HOWEVER, the plastic "rope" support cord sewed within the edge of the brim is a deal breaker. This type hat must retain their shape regardless storage or activity. The single plastic support along the brim became "bent" while stored in various locations. I've squeezed it and tried to bend it back into proper shape with no success. I do not recommend.

Favorite Hat In The Yak

I spend a lot of time fishing in my kayak and I never leave shore without this hat. It is rugged, comfortable and awesome at keeping the sun off.

Used it on the trail in the sierras. Light, and well ventilated. I like it so much used it anytime I’m outside.

Fantastic Sum Hat

Fantastic sun hat, we bought a few for several colors. Wish they had a pastel light yellow, e.g "Lemon Fizz"

Sized Up To Fit My Hair

Needed something for my kayaking tours and gardening and general sun protection when not in the trees. This hat is well ventilated and fit great even in the windier conditions. Washed well post dip in the lake, and sweat rings. I sized up so it would fit over my braids, which worked wonderfully.

Best Outdoor Hat Ever

I absolutely LOVE this hat for many reasons. It’s waterproof, the brim covers my face, ears & neck, it’s adjustable around my head and under my chin. I bought my first one at least 15 years ago in a store in Maine. It’s wonderful for boating, hiking, beaching, walking, and anything where you need coverage from the sun. It’s easy to wash and stands up to the test of time. I just bought 2 more after researching the company. You just can’t go wrong. My old one is still in use. Signed, One VERY HAPPY customer.

Not The Best Hat, No

Had this hat for two years. That generation hat had a wire for the XL size. Didn’t hold up well, became very curved (picture extravagant Indiana Jones fedora but on a dad bod). Also, ventilation openings cannot accommodate Southern climates. Reasonable cover for light rain in autumn weather though. As with any nylon/poly cloth, stay away from flying embers.

Awesome Hat

I work construction and this summer heat has been killing me. This hat really ensures I stay cool. It also holds its form great. I would highly recommend.

Keeps The Sun Away

Hat fits true to size, so make sure you measure your head before ordering. This hat does a great job of keeping the sun completely off your face due to the size of the brim. It’s really light weight and easily packable.

Wonderful Hat For Bright Sunny Days In The South

This hat is great for very sunny conditions here in the south. I it not heavy or bulky like some wide brim hats. Cleans well and very easy after use. Wear them all the time when out in the sun for extended periods.
