Wore this most recently on a Snowboarding trip in Japan. Was pleasantly surprised at how well the Women's Carbide Bibs held up. I'm new to snowboarding, so I was on my bum A Lot, didn't have any issues with the waterproofing or durability. I would just layer wool and a pair of fleece sweats and found them quite comfortable and warm (I tend to run cold). Love the wind proofing. Only thing I wasn't too keen on was that I felt they could have a little more loose fit than they were. Length was great, but I just felt the legs and butt were a little snug for what I would normally want. Luckily the fabric is flexible and it didn't really pose an issue. I'm 5'9" and 150lbs with a size Medium for reference.

I had an older pair of Carbide bibs (2023) but a few holes later and a couple hundred days of wear I decided to get a new pair, in the same size large. While the new ones are shorter in length, a good thing and I have long legs, they are tighter around the hips and thighs. Also the area where the snap is close to your armpit for unzipping your bibs and also cinching around your chest is tighter than my old pair. Hard to believe this is a size large. I also ordered an XL but it is really like two sizes bigger….so I will return it. Love the new color blue. I am hoping these will stretch a bit. Still my favorite bibs though - lightweight, great pocket placement and easy to layer underneath for cold backcountry days.

Very comfortable easy to use. Keep you dry in the snow.

This was purchased for my wife as the bib/coat combo. It has been used for everything from snowmobiling, backcountry hiking, and skiing. It has enough ability as far as ventilation goes to be able to make it a very versatile piece of equipment. It is not as thick as some of the ski dedicated equipment, so extra layers can be used to help. I would not recommend the coat specifically for backcountry skiing, just due to it being too thick, but otherwise they have worked out great.

I bought the womens carbide bibs this past November and I have to say I'm highly disappointed in the "quality" of Outdoor Research. After only 4 wears, the bibs are showing heavy signs of wear and the membrane of the goretex has worn through. I'd be surprised if these last me more than one season. If you are an avid outdoors person, I recommend spending a bit more and getting a better quality product.
