Fun Spin On A Water Bottle For A Golf Lover

My son had this on his Chistmas list but it was sold out. When it came back in stock we grabbed it!

Lengthy Review

I bought this water bottle as I am a avid golfer and just fit my vibe. Prior to buying this I have been a lifetime Yeti user and died by the brand. Since then, I have found that this is the almost the only bottle I now use. Compared to the Yeti ramblers, this is far and beyond better in most categories. The first thing I want to say is that the versatility in the drinking port is perfect. If you want to use a straw you can, if you want to tip it back and chug, you can do that as well. Compared to the Yeti, the straw is much easier to use and takes less sucking power. Owala 1 - Yeti 0. The second thing I want to hit on is the size. While Yetis you can order above the 30oz limit, they just become way to big and can't fit in any cupholders and are just awkward. The Owala is cupholder worthy and holds 30oz which is plenty for your daily use. Owala 2 - Yeti 0 Next is the design. Starting off with the Owala, it is much sleeker and has a narrower design allowing that cupholder availability. I also prefer the finish on the Owala over the Yeti along with the "handle" that you get. On the Yeti it all depends on the lid you select, whereas the Owala, you get it fixed and can be moved out of the way to hid it. Owala 3 - Yeti 0. Another category I want to hit on is the Insulation aspect. While I haven't pushed the Owala to its limits in the middle of summer, I have used it and left it in the sun. This is one section that I would have to sway into the Yeti's court because no matter the weather or temperature, they ALWAYS stay cold or warm depending on what you put inside. So far the Owala hasn't given me a WOW factor but it will be tested soon with summer around the corner. Owala 3 - Yeti 1. The last category that I want to touch on is cleanability. With the Yeti it is just generally seen as a beast and can withstand almost anything. I have washed it hundreds of times by hands and dishwasher and still has a near perfect finish. The only thing Yeti struggles with is the straw lid. There are nooks and spaces that hold dirt really good and it is right near the mouth/straw. This makes me question my immune system every time I drink from it. On the flipside the Owala specifically states that it should not be dishwashed to save the finish. I myself prefer to wash by hand so this isn't a selling point for me, but I have notices that it is much easier to clean and grip the Owala then the Yeti. Owala 4 - Yeti 2 One other small point that I want to make is the durability of the Owala and Yeti's. They both are very durable but probably lean the Yeti's direction. Owala 4 - Yeti 3

I didn't quite understand the craze with the Owala bottles until I bought one myself. It is genuinely a superior water bottle and the golf theme design is perfect for me.

Convenient Size

Great size for use on the course, but tends to mark easily with the texture near the bottom. Inner threading ens up with a little less space than outside threading compared to other owala bottles.
