Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good line for the price This is the line for those of you who think fluorocarbon is too expensive but need a little extra abrasion resistance. 20lb held up to snook without any problem. I used this as a leader. Also have this as my main line for a couple baitcasters for bass fishing. More supple than 100% fluorocarbon and much cheaper. You can replace your line as needed and not feel like you are pulling $25.00 off of your spool every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Catches Fish Starting over buying and outfitting all my fresh water fishing gear has been overwhelming. The number and types of fishing line now made my head spin. Before we went overseas, I would just get some spider wire and be done with it...taking a chance on some fluorocarbon was new to me and this purchase hasn’t disappointed. I’ve caught at least 15-16 bass alone using this PLine and no issues. I’ve got it on my bait casting and spinning set ups. The only issue I had was my on fault because I put the wrong poundage line on my spinning rod and experienced a few “rats nests”, but still caught fish! Put lower poundage line on the spinning rod and issue(that was my own fault) was resolved.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Line, Great Price I was introduced to P Line last year (2016) in the late fall. We were bass fishing in a channel where bass sit year long. I through out a small crankbaits on 8lb P Line instantly caught a 39" Northern Pike. No fray, no curl, just strength! Ever since that day I put P Line on EVERYTHING. Ultra Light, Walleye Setups, and almost all of my bass rods. GREAT Line for an even greater price!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from That in-between line P-Line is not mono but it isnt a flouro either. It combines some of the benefits of both, but does not replace either in extreme cases. For the everyday angler, it is a huge improvement over standard monofilaments that are commonly used. I found it works great in most applications.Pros:- Cost- manageability like mono- less visibility like flouroCons:- Still visible unlike true 100% flourocarbons- Still has some float instead of sinking like flouro

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for clear water This line is strong, clear and casts decently. I use it on my bass and trout reels for clear water situations. It does have some memory so I usually stretch it out before using it. You can do this by stringing the rod you are using then tying the end of the line to a stationary object flip the bail while holding the line between your thumb and index finger. Walk back about the distance of your average cast. Flip the bail back over and make sure the drag is tight. Point the rod toward the object the line is tied to and pull backwards. Put just enough tension on the line to strech it out six or seven times without breaking it. Then walk back while reeling the line in. Then you will be ready to fish without the haste of twisted line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stealhead Season is in The 4 pound test is an excellent choice for Stealhead fishing. It is durable, strong, and almost invisible to the fish. Using a noodle rod with P-Line and ultra small hooks and gear I consistently out fish the average fisherman every trip. I would have never thought I could handle 10+ pound fish on such light gear, especially as hard and long as Stealhead fight.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great line as long as it's not used for leaders I'm sure it's good for spooling up but if you plan to use it for you leader it don't hold some knots. I use braid and about 6 foot leader, it works good for ending knots to lures but if you plan on using it with a dropper loop it will only make the know 25% of the time. The other 75% it will slip on not tie.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible This line frayed and broke off twice in a row resulting in me losing two saltwater pompano rigs in a row while on vacation. Two bites, two break offs before I could even pick the rod out of the holder. Changed line to mono and never had another lost fish the entire rest of the week. Would not recommend!
