[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this in black and it’s my favorite bag right now. I was debating between this one and the smaller size (mini). I think the mini would be good for shorter trips around town when you don’t want to carry much. But I’m a pack rat and like to be prepared with the option to carry a lot. I also liked that this bigger version has an exterior sleeve that you could slide over the handles of a rolling suitcase, which the smaller version doesn’t have. I don’t think the front small pocket would prevent theft because it would be easy to slide the zipper through the loop that is supposed to “lock” it. But I feel confident the locking mechanism on the main compartment is annoying enough to prevent casual pickpocketing and I am excited to take this on a trip to Europe this summer. Just keep your valuables at the bottom of the main compartment and I don’t see how a thief could get to it without you noticing. This holds a surprising amount: right now I have mine packed with a pair of flip flops, a pair of sneakers, a lightweight fast drying towel, a wallet, a headphones case, a guidebook, and a full change of workout clothes in the main compartment. I will definitely keep using this bag even at home. Happy with my purchase.

I needed something that was big enough to hold my laptop and diapers, a water bottle and a sippy cup, stylish and safe, comfortable and durable... this fit the bill! The backpack straps tuck in to hide so I can use it as a regular purse during the work week but easily use it as a backpack diaper bag on the weekends. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the top zipper. It has a metal rod that keeps the structure in place. Not a huge deal, but I have to unzip in completely to get in and out of it. Otherwise, it's great!!
