Patagonia Quandary Shorts - Max Utility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Patagonia Quandary shorts maximize usefulness. Because they are available in numeric waist sizes (both even & odd) they fit extremely well, and they also have an interior draw string so there is no need for a cumbersome belt (think airport security). In addition, the shorts have 5 pockets including a front and back zip pocket to secure personal items. They are the perfect shorts for "any" activity (biking, swimming, running, hiking, climbing, walking, traveling, camping, lounging and sleeping). To that point, I recently brought 12 pairs of old shorts & work-out trunks to the Goodwill drop, and replaced them with 3 pairs of the quandary shorts reducing my clothing inventory some 75%. In fact I'm wearing a pair while I write this review, and I couldn't be more comfortable. Great design, great features, and an all around quality product.

Great All Around Short!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first pair about 10 months ago and since then I've really put them through the ringer. I've worn them wet wading while fly fishing, under fishing waders, hiking, traveling and even working in the yard and I can still wear them to dinner the same night and still look good. I bought 2 more pair a couple months later! I'm a sz 31 waist in most stuff including Patagonia but I did find these running a bit large. A 30 waist fit perfectly in the 10" inseam. These are really quick drying so they worked really well for wet wading.
