MEASUREMENTS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • We recommend a room with at least 24" of space to the left, right and front of the Tread, and 79" of space to the back for storing and training. The ceiling height minimum is 20" greater than the user’s height.
  • SELF ASSEMBLY: The Cross Training Tread is extremely heavy and requires more than one person to lift or carry. Use lifting aids and proper lifting techniques when moving or assembling the Tread. A second person may be helpful when raising and lowering the Bike. Lifting heavy objects can cause muscle strain and back injuries. Heavy objects can also fall and cause injury and physical damage
  • All-Access Membership must be purchased separately in order to access Peloton content on your Bike+. Terrible Customer Service And Product

I purchased this $3000 machine on January 11th. It arrived late and did not work. They sent a tech to fix the issues with no success. It is February 12th and my treadmill still does not work. They ordered parts to fix this brand new treadmill and it still hasn’t arrived. Talked to Peleton and Dicks customer service and they have yet to make this situation right or even try to compensate or doing anything to help the situation. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Love My Tread+!!!

I love my Tread+. I’ve never been a runner…until now. I love the way it feels to run on this treadmill, it’s so comfortable and easy on my knees. I also love the 15% incline, as I’ve been doing the hiking classes to prep for real hikes once the weather is nice. I have a peloton bike and this has been a great addition to my home gym. Love Robin, Kirsten, Camila, and still have more running instructors to try out.

Some Critiques But Overall Glad I Did It

Overall loving the Tread. The speed and incline functions are great, tactile. Some shaking noted at certain speed/incline pairings - that is my biggest critique. With the screen being so large (a plus!), it really highlights the vibrations unfortunately. One way I've mitigated this is by turning the screen away from me, since I really don't need to see it all that much and can adjust settings based on feel (the "button" for 1 pt increase is convenient). This may not be a popular opinion, but I would prefer a lower screen (even at the expense of size) so that I can see over it and out my window for a more organic experience that essentially mitigates all perception of the Tread shaking. Or, even the ability to fold down the screen while maintaining audio. Second critique is the passcode locking function. It feels incredibly reactive of Peloton to make this feature so persistent. Even during setup it kept coming on and prompting me to re-enter a passcode which was incredibly frustrating. I called Support to see if I could either disable this entirely or at least increase the number of seconds before it popped up, both of which were a firm "no". It also is a bit glitchy, where you have to precisely and firmly press the buttons or else it seems to short-circuit and needs to be entered again. I should get to chose the level of privacy/protection for my own device -- hard stop. Lastly, the price has always been a hesitancy for me in purchasing, and I still think it is quite expensive.
