I had originally written a review after my 1st day of playing with the new 3 pack of Pro Penn 40 that I had purchased and I gave it a very good review. I believe my original review should not have been posted after only playing for 1 hour with the Pro Penn 40 ball. After that first session, every ball in the 3 pack has busted in half. It takes less than to hours for a ball to be cracked in half. People might say maybe it's because you guys are bangers on the court. Whether we are bangers or not, the Franklin X-40 balls (no matter the color) are definitely a much better manufactured ball. The Pro Penn40 balls are not a good purchase!! Spend your money on either Franklins or Onix pickleballs instead of Penn Pro 40 that don't even make through a single afternoon of play. Not sure how the Penn's can't make it through a single 3 hour session of play. I should have waited a little longer before I wrote my first review complimenting the quality of the Penn ball. Now I know, and I wanted to share my experience with others who might waste their money on this Pro Penn 40 ball.
