Penn Rod And Reel Combo

You can’t beat a Penn rod and reel combo especially at the great price offered by Dicks.

Travel Rod 7foot Med Heavy

I took one star away as I yet to use rod. I am familiar with Penn Reels and do not think the 6000 series reel will be a problem. The other reason I took a star away is I could not find the length of the 3 pieces more importantly the longest of the three pieces to see if it would fit in my TRAVEL bag So here it goes - the longest piece of this rod is the base coming in at 29 and 7/8 of and inch the middle piece is 29 and 3/8 and the top is 29 and 5/8 of an inch It does with a travel case that is 31 and 3/4 of an inch. Lets hope it fits in your bag and it handles fish. I did test it with 40lb braid with girlfriend running around the yard with drag set fairly high and the combo passed!!
