Poor Guides.

Good rod but after fishing twice with it, I notice this! Frustrating. Penn put great detail into a great rod, but then finish it with lousy guides.

Great Rod For Jigging

I bought this rod as a loaner for my boat and paired it up with a old Avet SX6 reel. I already had a friend use it as a down rod for Spadefish and he loved it. He also used it for jigging for flounder and commented on how light and sensitive the rod was.
