Not What I Expected.

Kayak seem to be good quality and with nice features. But after a few months of use it started developing a BIG dent at the bottom of the kayak. When I tried to do a warranty claim Perception told me and I quote “get creative and find a way to push out the dent, its common for kayaks get that type of dents.” Kayak is under warranty and they refuse to honor it. Im not happy at all.

Just pulled it out to use for the first time and realized there is no cup holder, even though the description says it comes with one.

Super Stable

Im a big dude, 280lbs. This kayak has been so fun for fishing and rec. Its nice and stable for my size, can not stand in it to fish so dont try. Good storage as well.

Great Kayak

The Hook Angler moves around very easily in the water. Low cockpit helps in windy conditions. My buddy's with Sit-On kayaks are getting blown all over the place. Price was a bit high considering you can find others with similar features for at least $100 cheaper. Although the materials are solid and it's still a better yak than my Pelican or Lifetime.
