Perfect For Plus

I have the 13ft pescador double and it's fine as a double but paddling it solo is super uncomfortable so I decided to get my own single. This sitatop is everything I want in a kayak—I'm tall and fat, and I like being able to easily hop in and out of my kayak if I paddle to an island or want to hop off and swim. I have plenty of room all around and am really pleased how quick it is and how well it tracks. I can paddle hard and my tail doesn't wiggle all over the place. The foot peds have a lot of adjustability, which is nice because often you're in between and never quite comfortable. If I'm hard pressed the only critique I have is that the side handles are not quite balanced, so it's hard to carry this alone without the front or back dipping down and dragging on the ground. But at twelve feet it's hard to maneuver on your own anyway so I recommend having either help or a dolly.

Good Sot With A Few Minor Quibbles

Has been a good sit on top kayak for what I wanted. Tracks well. A few minor quibbles: Needs side mount carry handles for easier handling. Seat could be a lot more comfortable. Get butt hurt after about an hour.

Good Kayak But Seat Is Uncomfortable And Foot Pegs Feel Cheap

I have been out on this kayak for three 3-hour paddles and my only complaint is the seat is torture. I purchased a cheap Amazon seat pad. It helps a lot but I’m still disappointed in the stock seat which doesn’t seem to have an easy way to replace with something better. The back of the seat is fine. Lastly, the foot pegs seem flimsy and I will not be surprised at all when they break with regular use.
