Excellent Fishing Yak

I have owned this yak for 3 summers and it is great. I'm an avid river smallmouth fisherman and it fits all my needs. It's small enough that I can load and unload alone but it is big enough that I have room for everything I need. It tracks excellent. I wanted a great fishing yak without the expensive price tag and this one fit the bill. You may want to purchase an anchor and a dry bag. No real complaints though. I also got mine on sale so I didn't pay the $729... but it is worth it.

Very Stable

Cruised around a pond & bayou.. I can step into it from the bank and stand in it. I can carry it with one hand against my side with not much problem.. I'm around 135 Lbs. The only way it feels it wants to tip over is if I hang my head and most of my body weight over the side.. I did this only to test the stability.. & moves pretty quickly Against the Wind.

Well Satisfied

Used it about 5 times. Worked great. Didn't give it 5 stars because one of the screw holes to mount the transducer was damaged. Had to put a self-taping screw.

Best One For The Price

I have 20 years fishing from kayak best one I ever had

Very Stable Kayak

I wanted to buy a kayak for fishing and occasional recreational activities on lakes and slow moving rivers. I also wanted a sit-on-top kayak with a comfortable seat for long hours of fishing. So far, I have been very happy with my purchase. There's plenty of room to store stuff on top of the kayak in both the front and back; however, you'll need to buy dry bags to keep your stuff dry. The more I use my kayak, the more comfortable I get with the seat in the highest position and the stability to reach back to grab my poles or anything else without worrying it's going to tip over. It also tracks very well in the water. My only criticism is that for the price, it should have included an anchor system, especially since it is made primarily for fishing. The kayak normally retails for $729, but I got it on sale for $620 at Dick's Sporting Goods.
