Im on th hunt for the worlds brightest, longest lasting headset. I used to have one, and it was simple and cheap from a local box store but apparently me buying all of them out everywhere wasn't enough to keep the headsets produced. Im an artist so i live in headsets. The brighter the better, and the the longer lasting without a lot of crap like lower lights, red lights, blinking lights. I dont need any of that garbage. And the more you add the more you pay pay. Hence these things that cost a god aweful amount amoney and might be great for hikers. I dont know i hate hiking. But on the highest settings like all headsets im pitching into my couch in a few hours. And i have 2 different versions of this thing. The expensive one and the really expensive one

New Feature Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Actik for years and is the best most comfortable headlamp. I use it everyday from feeding on the farm and at work. Decided to try the Actik Core due to new features such as added brightness and because it came with rechargeable battery. I saw the reviews on how hard the back is to open but figured maybe they were not used to the way they open? I was wrong. All the new features do not outweigh the fact that the back is horrible to open they should have not changed the design from the Actik. I still give the headlamp a 4 because it is bright, light, comfortable and super easy to use, but, I would spend the extra to buy the Actik with rechargeable battery instead.
